but what else do you do besides eat? and can you "feel" the boat moving? are there protective railings or can you slip over the side :scared: sorry if these sound "duh"....but I really don't know :confused3

One of the cruise lines (I think Carnival but I'm not sure) has been losing passengers lately! They've had a few disappear - they assume over the edge. :confused3 :faint:

I went on a cruise twenty-some years ago, though, and never felt like I could have just "slipped" over the edge!

That's what I am doing.

Plus the teacher called at the end of the school day to see if he would be there in the morning and I said no. She apologized for having gotten a little short with me about him missing the test, she said that she had a really bad day, and not to worry because he could make it up on Friday. I had already decided that the physical was more important but it did make me feel bad to know she was having a bad day and didn't mean to direct it at me.

cool :thumbsup2 one good thing!!

We went on shore when we docked places. They have a ton of things to do on shore.

Yes they do have some protective rails but if I remember right they did have some opening in them. That was over 17 years ago.

They show movies and have things scheduled to do on board the boat.

When we were on our cruise there was a tropical depression hitting land so YES we felt the boat move. It got pretty bad at times but that was a fluke.

I would love to do another one. There is so much to see and do. And just laying by the pool relaxing would be GRAND!!!!

I could be wrong, but I think it was princes cruise line (is that even a cruise line?) or maybe royal something, but I don't remember carnival.... like I said I could be wrong, that was like 20 pages ago or something.

It does seem relaxing...you are basically at a huge hotel that floats, right? do you need passports when you get off the boat?

I bet her day wasn't like yours :sad2: at least she apologized and was o.k. with him making up the test....not that she had a choice ;) :rolleyes1

It made me feel better that she apologized and to know that she was just having a bad day. She's a great teacher and she's in charge of the special ed department at the high school so I know she's pulled in every direction. They have so much to do, and so much paperwork to keep up with in special ed that they are just plain overworked! I'm sure you know where this is coming from Pam!!

OK- enough damage for one night.... off to bed.

TTFN

I am pretty sure you would need a passport. Especially now after the 911 stuff.

But when we went we just needed a Birth Certificate.

Oh my, I made a mistake. Okay chalk up one for me. (But make sure you use erasable chalk 'cause I don't make mistakes very often so I'll be wanting to erase that tally! :lmao: :lmao: )

Oh-oh, I tried to make a joke and now I'm gonna get Pam laughing again! :teeth:
