It was a special prom...just for the "Special Populations." It was sponsored by Special Olympics and our Parks and Rec Department. I thought it was only for our county but it was actually for four counties and there were about 100 people there. A.J. was one of the youngest. I went in to make sure he was going to do okay and I talked to the Special Olympics coordinator (who was also all dressed up in a gown!). I only talked with her for a few minutes but before I was done A.J. was out on the dance floor!
I haven't downloaded the pics yet. I'll have to go do that now so I can share some with you!
