That is great to hear you had a nice vacation.

We really did!!!

We went to the Aquarium (three times), mini golf (two times for the whole family and one time for just DH, A.J. and Matthew), went on a couple of hikes and the boys playing in the river and in creeks, did some outlet shopping and all of the boys got new shoes for school, went on the chair lift, Andrew, A.J. and I went on the Space Needle and we ate, and ate and ate!!!!

I took lots of pics so if you guys would like to see them I'll post some this weekend.

That reminds me - we also went to Forbidden Caverns. As many times as we've gone over to the Gatlinburg area (for 24 years now) we've never made it to the caverns. It was neat!

Tomorrow night is the Brad Paisley concert! DH has decided not to go, though. He needs to go in to work. They did some stuff while we were gone (in fact, he spents all day the other day on the cell phone back and forth with his guys) so he feels he needs to go in and do some follow-up with them. So, A.J. is going to go with me. He's sooooo excited!!

I dread Sunday, though! The concert is in Charlotte, about 3 hours from here. So I won't be getting home until 2 or 3 a.m. And I have to be at work Sunday morning by 5 a.m.!!!

Well, I've got a load of laundry to fold and then I'm heading off to bed! I'm proud of myself for having gotten all of the suitcases unpacked and three loads of laundry done since we got home. I'm usually terrible about unpacking!

Yeah, it's great for A.J. He is so excited. I think he's more excited about seeing Taylor Swift than Brad Paisley. And he's hoping to be able to meet her. She usually stays after to sign autographs so I told him we would try.

Hi Everyone-we made it and have been spending time with DS! He looks great and he's very very happy!!!

I even took him to the mall today and he bought his 1st pair of glasses-with his own $$$$$

and get this.....

So glad he is happy!

we were standing at on the front lawn of his grandmas/Omas house and He was all dressed in his whites and sailor hat-well some lady stops and gets out of her car

She says-you don't know me-but I just wanted to tell you Thank-You for Serving!!!! and gave him a Big Hug and told him she would keep him in her prayers!!!!

Freaky-But the Drill instructors told them to be ready for people to do that to him-so it didn't surprise him at all

I always try to make it a point to say thank you if I see someone in uniform! They need to know we appreciate what they are doing for us!

Great news Kathy-must be your luckey year!! 1st the cruise and now the concert!!! Do you want to go in on some lottery tickets with me?????

Actually, my two managers at the store asked the same thing when I won the concert tickets. So we went in on one lottery ticket together but we didn't win anything!

Nope, no backstage passes. But Taylor Swift has a habit of sticking around for pics and autographs so we will try to meet her.

Her mother left when she was very young and she's been mostly raised by her grandparents. Her grandmother just died in the past year or so.
