the only reason we haven't painted the living room is b/c of our gigantic piano

when we moved here, we had it in storage for 6 months, and when it came time to get it out of storage it had sunk into the floor there!!

It was so hard to get it out, but when we did it had left four pretty deep indents in the ground.

We had to move a piano too many time and up and down a huge hill at the rental house-I know a furniture dolly really helped alot-you can rent them from U-Haul for 8 dollars-Best 8 bucks I ever spent!!!

I really never thought of a furniture dolly. Hmmmm! I'll have to look into that!

Yesterday DH and I went to TN shopping. It was a planned trip and something I've been waiting for!

We ordered our family room furniture - which will be delivered as soon as we get the carpeting in, we purchased our new kitchen set - a huge table, six regular chairs, two captain's chairs, a bench and a china hutch, and we picked out our carpeting. The kitchen set will be delivered this week. It's unfinished so we will have to spend some time staining it. And the carpet installer should be out this week to get measurements for the carpet.

I am so excited that this is finally moving along!!

WOOO HOOO!!!

And DH is "trying out" a new toy this weekend.

He has "borrowed" a 4-wheeler from a friend at work and if he likes it (yeah, like I believe he's not going to like it ) then he's going to buy it. He's already made the deal with the guy as far as the final price and it is a good deal so....

I have to go back to work after three days off! It was so nice to be off. After all the hours I've been putting in it really felt like a mini-vacation!

Did I tell you that my manager yelled at me Friday? I was supposed to be off work at 2 and he heard me on the intercom at three. So he got me on the in-store phone and asked me if I knew what time it was. When I said yes, he said that he knew too and I better get my butt out of the store! He said I deserved a couple of days off and he wanted me to get started on them! It made me feel really good and made me feel like he appreciates the extra work I've been doing.

DH has decided that he does like it (duh, gee what a surprise) and that it is a good deal so he's going to take care of the rest today.

yeah it's not too bad, except my back is killing me from having to carry all my books on the same days. It's crazy b/c I'm only taking 2 classes right now, and my bag is sooooo heavy.

Be careful! When I went back to school I ended up with tendonitis in my shoulder from carrying my heavy bookbag over the same shoulder all the time!

ugh... it's hot out!

I have a headache. I was outside for recess for 1 1/2 hours straight and I didn't bring any water or wear a hat.

I am going to have to think of those things in the morning.

I don't know if I like this recess then lunch schedule.

T missed the afternoon bus, so I went and picked him up, then I had to bring a furry friend up to the school to show G's teacher.

Now, we're eating dinner (I know it's too early for dinner, but with football at 5:15 I have to get something in their tummies).

then I'm going to try to get the 3 boys to finish their homework from 4:30-5, send them off, and then work on Miss. M's homework, till Girl Scouts at 6:45pm.

Matthew's not playing soccer this fall and I don't miss that running around at all! But fear not - basketball season is right around the corner!
