Did you check with your local shelter. Maybe somebody saw them running around and took them there.

Did you post signs around, in case someone found them and is holding them.
I did check with the shelter and no luck so far, they have my number....Where we live the degree of separation is from 0-1....so most people either know us or they will know one of our family members...chances are the dogs chased a deer or something into the vacant land areas...they better come home soon....

About two years ago one of our kitty's went out one day and never came back. We were so worried about him.. we finally told the kids that someone must have taken him.. they're beautiful siamese looking (but really mixes). well about a year later we saw a notice in the paper looking for a home for "Simba", we called him Dylan. By the time I called on Monday morning, they already found a new home for him.

I lost my doggie when I was 12 and my parents had the school's announce it over the morning announcements. Someone came forward who had him.

They had renamed him, and he was living the high life eating tacos!!
Once our mommy dog left and then came home after having her fur cleaned and nails done :earseek: I always wondered why she came home....she was better groomed then me! :confused3

ok.. I have to go and make it look like I did something besides DIS today :rolleyes1

bye :wave2:

What is wrong with people. If I found an animal I would put a notice in the paper and signs on the streets. You guys are saying that people find them and keep them.

If that would work I would leave out a whole package of them....I would even cook them first.

we were actually really happy! He wasn't dead, and he now had a home. Who knows how long he was on the streets. And he looked beautiful and healthy in his picure.

Awww what a good Mommy.

ok.. I'm really leaving...

my light will now be red? black??? blue??? hmm.. I don't know since it's always green for me!!

My REAL OFFICIAL GOODBYE!!

My Greyhound got out a couple of times. I didn't stop until I found her. DH gave up and begged him to go one more time. And there she was on the side of the road down in a ditch just resting.

I was screaming up and down the roads one night that the neighbor came out to see what was going on and ended up helping look for her.

I think it depends on the pet. My mommy dog is pure-bred beagle and she has a mellow temper and a really nice coat...but darn beagle got the scent of something and off she went! My daddy dog is a pure-bred blue heeler and is also a really nice dog, but older. The younger dog is a mix from my other dogs and looks mixed up...someone might return him :rotfl: He was least attractive of the litter (the other dogs had really nice coats) but has the sweetest, most loving personality, so we kept him...nice family dog and I love him.
