this is the only time I ever get to DIS lately and I had to threaten bodily injury to my DS if he didn't get off

So...have you gotten any snow yet -must be cold already though -it is here we have the jet stream coming out of Canada and the mornings are pretty cold already

It's still mild here...it has been rainy...but it's brightening up and the forecast is nice and warm for the weekend. The leaves are really turning though and beginning to fall...

No snow here either-but Kayla from NY(upstate) mentioned they got snow already-I just hope this winter isn't too cold-the cost of fuel is outragous-I was on hold with the gas/electric Co and they were proud of that fact that they held the cost of fuel to only 40-50% this year!!!Ok in what world do they live in where a 40-50% increase is a good thing

I would imagine some places North of here may have had the odd dusting already too...I dread the thought. It's been such a lovely summer but I know all good things must come to an end..

It was a great Summer -We plan on moving to Atlanta next summer,so this will be our last cold winter-hope it's a good one,love the snow hate the bitter cold

I like the snow...when I am inside with a roaring fire and it's pretty and fluffy. But hate shovelling it and when it turns to ICE ...Yuck...that's not fun!

I wouldn't mind leaving it behind either and will one day if all goes according to plan!

exactly-hate shoveling or since we have such a long double wide driveway trying to start the snow blower!!!!!

but soon....... all that will be a distant nightmare(although I was raised in Wisconsin and been here ever since) Atlanta looks mighty nice and warm-where we can head to the mountains if we want snow or stay put and enjoy the mild weather(all 4 seasons-just not extreme winters!!!)plus DH family lives on the NC/GA border and it will be nice to be closer to them

PS the white soxs just won the world series

We lived in Florida for awhile can you believe we found the heat unbearable!? Go figure..as these bones get older I look forward to trying it again!

They did? I didn't even know the World Series was going on...been under that rock again I guess!

Plus I want to know when her trip to WDW is scheduled for.....

I know I know-I've been MIA-still not feeling 100% having some health problems looked into-but it should all be OK in about 6-8weeks yippy 6-8 weeks Oh brother!!!!

Yep and Tracy from this LTP board isn't going to be happy either-

We figured that we would move while 2 of our 3 kids are still young enough to stick around Atlanta area when they grow up since our Oldest doesn't want to have anything to do with living down there-but he's thinking about going into the Military and it wont matter to him where we live after that-now if I could just get him to graduate HS
