We are coming to Orlando at the crack of dawn tomorrow, spending 3 nights the RPR. We have 3 day park-to-park tickets. I have a general plan but have a couple questions rattling around... - I'm thinking we'll just uber or cab from the airport... I'm assuming we shouldn't run into issues. We actually planned to use someone I've seen recommended on this board but he didn't email back and it seems like uber/cab is cheaper anyhow...
- do we need reservations for dinners? I have a whole list of restaurants pulled from here and other sites. I think we want to hit Cowfish, maybe one of the pizza places... we'd maybe rather play it by ear but don't want to be in a position where everything is full so wondering what we need to set up in advance.
- Weather looks rainy on Saturday - are there rides or areas of either park that are better (or not as bad) to hit when it's rainy?
- I'm thinking we'll generally go to one park Friday, one Saturday, and use Sunday to revisit favorites or anything we missed. Any suggestions on which to hit which day, given that we will have early entrance Saturday and Sunday but won't get there in time Friday?

Thanks in advance to anyone who answers!

In your situation I’d just Uber/Lyft from the airport. We always use Tony Hinds but I know he’s been so swamped lately… maybe because of no Magical Express?? I do find texting him instead of email results in fast responses.

Reservations especially during weekends are encouraged but many will still accept walk-ups. I think the key for walk-ups is to try to arrive when they open (most open around 4pm). We saw walk-ups being seated right away at Vivo and Bigfire at opening time this past weekend. Places like Cowfish and Toothsome are more difficult to get in though.

As for rain, both parks have plenty of indoor rides. I slightly lean towards Studios though between their indoor rides and shows such as Bourne Stuntacular and the Horror Make-Up Show (which is a blast!). Saturdays are always a madhouse with crowds so hopefully the rain will lighten up the crowds a bit for you.

Thanks for all this! We were planning to use Tony Hinds but it looked like uber or lyft would be quite a bit less. I still make text him today. I guess the bonus is we'd be able to stop at Publix if needed...

Really appreciate the insight. We're excited!

For the rain concern, I’d definitely stick with Studios. islands really only has a few all-indoors rides (Forbidden Journey, Cat In The Hat, Spider-Man, Kong). Studios only has a couple outdoor rides (Rip Ride Rockit, Woody Woodpecker) with the VAST majority indoors.

That being said, Saturday shows 40% chance of rain so it shouldn’t be a washout no matter which you choose. Hope you have a great time!
