I have been given the opportunity to meet a dear family member at Disney in early December. Although, I'd love to take advantage of it, I need your help. This would need to be very budget conscious and I was wondering if there are any discounts currently underway for early December (2 nights). I have no particular resort in mind - only that it be clean! I also will not have a rental car and will need to rely on some type of transfer from the airport to the hotel. I've located a reasonably priced flight, but the hotel part has me:confused3 ! Thanks in advance. I know the folks on these boards have a great deal of knowledge re all things Disney and since I have a very busy schedule this weekend and am unable to surf at work, I'd sincerely appreciate any advice. Thanks again.

Last I checked there werent even any rooms available for the first 2 weeks of december. There is a nov/dec room only special for that time but once again, assuming you can find a room. Id call disney (prepare for "are you serious" from the CM when you give them the dates)

First of I doubt any CM would say that - but to the OP - just play online with the dates - I did Dec 1-3 at All Stars and you can get the room there for the two nights for 185...granted that isn't a huge budget saver BUT since you don't have a rental car it would really be a smart move.

The OP could fly into Orlando, use Magical Express (for free) for transport to the hotel and back and then use the Disney buses while there.

Hey, this sounds great! Last minute trips are the best!! There is a December promo on for the Value resorts, and All-Star Sports has rooms available in early December for 59.00/night. You'd have to purchase tickets on top of that (I'm assuming you'll need those). And as Traveliz pointed out, Magical Express is a free service if you are flying into MCO. You don't even have to collect your bags, they do that for you and are in your hotel room within about 4 hours of arrival. The ME takes you right to your resort, and from there you have access to all of Disney's transportation.

I've stayed at all of the All-Stars and Pop, and they are basically what you're looking for. A clean, Disney decorated hotel. I think the rooms are about 280 sq feet, so they aren't gigantic, but you'll probably only be in it to sleep anyhow. And if it's just you in the room, you could request a king bed!

I hope this is budget friendly enough for you so that you're able to go.
