My grandparents go on a cruise once a year and have one planned within the next couple weeks.
Well it isn't looking good for my grandfather and the doctors say he may pass away within the next couple days.
The cruise cost them $5000 for the two of them- sorry but I'm not exactly sure which cruise line- my mother thinks they had insurance but it was only good if they had to cancel within 30 days of the cruise- she thinks at least.
What are my grandmother's options? Can she get the money back- possibly in a credit? Could she switch the names to someone else?
Thank you guys for your help. I'm just trying to be helpful given I'm states away.
