Last day questions

My daughter has her ending date for next Spring. I want to make airline reservations for us to go down and help her pack up. What actually happens those last few days - is your end date your last day of work and you also have to be out of the aprtment that day? Do you have to be out by any specific time that date? Do you stop working the day before? Any information on what happens the last few days would be appreciated.

I am sure some of the actual CPs will step in here but I am a CP mom too - from what I have read before on your ending date you have to be checked out of your apt by 11 am with your ID turned in. I have also read that often the kids get the day or two before that off as well.

My daughter checks out Jan 4th but the extended family is going down right after CHristmas so we hope to get her packed up here and there.

CP here. This is what happens the last couple of days. When you accept the CP, the end date is the date you check out. For ex: May 24-Jan 5 (thats from my last CP). I had to be out of my apartment by 11 am on Jan 5. You can be scheduled to work right up until you leave, but sometimes you get the day before off. One CP I got the 2 days before off. It all depends on managers/department.

You are exactly right! I was fortunate enough to get my last 2 days off. Some of my friends and roommates worked on their last day. You just have to be prepared! On the day of the departure, you have to be out by 11 a.m. You can get out later, but you have to get permission from housing, first.

Awsome! That's what I did on my first CP...3 years ago this Jan.

Cool! Where did you work? She collects Disney pins, so she wants to be surrounded by them!! That's where her paycheck is going!

I was mostly in Fantasyland at the MK. For the most part people who are in merchandise will be involved with pins and trading.

And I am a HUGE pin collector as well. My dad isn't too happy about that though. He thinks I am "wasting my money" on them.
