Last day: how long will it take go from AK to ASM to pick up luggage then to MCO

How long will it take to go from AK to pick up our luggage at All Star Music and make to to MCO Sunday evening in January. We're ok paying for a lyft/Uber. Will the lyft wait for us while we pick up our luggage? Is there another luggage storage option so we don't have to return to the hotel?

The trip from AK to ASM is very straight-forward, probably 10 minutes once you're on your way. From ASM to MCO is another 25-30, depending on traffic. I'm not aware of any simpler luggage storage option than leaving it with bell at ASM - that might be your best bet. You could probably take the bus from AK back to ASM and have Lyft meet you there - but the buses can be unpredictable with their schedules sometimes.

Picking up your luggage from ASM might be the great unknown, as it depends on how busy they are at that moment. I've seen some long lines to drop off/pick up luggage at Pop and other Disney hotels, so I imagine it would be the same at ASM. I would not expect a rideshare driver to wait for you there - I'd probably take the bus from AK to ASM, pick up my luggage, then summon the rideshare vehicle once I had my luggage and could load into the car quickly.

Thanks for the replies. I think if we want to do a night safari we will have to rent a car and bring our luggage with us.
