Laser & Fireworks Show at Sea World

Can any of you tell me about the laser & fireworks show
at Sea World?

I will be in Orlando with my family in October, and we will visit Sea World at least once (Busch Gardens pass holders with unlimited visits to Sea World as well).

I was just wondering if this would be something that my 2 small kids (2 & 4) would like.

The fireworks show is called Rock N Rockets and I think it runs through the summer and over Christmas. It probably won't be running when you visit.

However, the show takes you through music from the 60s to the present. Fireworks shoot over the lagoon and a laser show is shown on the big island in the middle. The fireworks come out of the island too. It is actually better than the Red, White, and Blue Spectacular.

The show started in May. The fireworks run from now to August 31. They will also run on November 23 to 24 and December 26 to 31.

Would you happen to know what time they start? Also, are they shown every day? We want to chose our day(s) as Seaworld wisely. Since we'll be there during the July 4th holiday, we were thinking of spending the entire day at Seaworld on Monday, July 2.

Oops, the fireworks run through September 3, not August 31. They run through Labor Day weekend. As for the fireworks, they usually run 15-30 minutes before close. Shamu's Big Chill runs around 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours before close and then people go to the lagoon for the fireworks.

Sea World has a special fireworks and laser show planned for June 30th through July 4th called Sounds of Freedom.

Sounds of Freedom will be presented twice nightly (at 9:00 pm and 10:25 pm) for the dates mentioned above, also the park will be open until 11:00 pm on those nights. It will feature the fireworks and laser show set to the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra who will be performing the music live on those nights.

Rockin rockets should be back on July 5th.

What would be the normal time for the fireworks in late August?

The normal time is usually 15-30 minutes before closing. The time varies. You need to check the park map for the day to see the time.
