Larisa&Eric June 6, 2011**7/7 Weee'reee Baaack!**

I've been such a bad bride! We are in Fl right now for our PS! 70 degrees and sunny here! I have so much to update but I'll get that all in after we come home! I'm in the process of having my camera shipped to the hotel because I forgot it!:scared1: We shall see how this pans out!

I like the unconventional shoes...If you're leaning more towards a nautical theme the pattern on the gold shoes remind me of waves...The green ones are awesome too!:goodvibes

So we're back from the PS and we got alot done! I feel so relieved and much reassured now that I've met everyone that is handling the wedding. The only issue I might have is the external florist...who may ultimately get the ax.
I'll do a full update later in the week when its not Christmas! lol Merry Christmas everyone!

So heres the PS TR! or the beginning anyway!:thumbsup2

We arrived Friday and it was a beautiful 70degrees when we hit the tarmac. we pretty much spent the rest of the day food shopping and settling in because we were staying at a Marriott off property. annnnd I forgot my camera so I have no pictures of this day.

Eric's mom fortunately overnighted my camera but I didn't get it saturday night until we went back to the hotel for dinner. So the only pictures I have from saturday is the of the Main Street Electrical Parade!

Sunday we went to church in the Church that the ceremony will be in. It was a beautiful Church and I'm excited! I wanted to do a thing where you present flowers to the statue of Mary but there was none. I walked up to a alcove near the altar and there was a picture of carved, unfinished statue so I took that as a "coming soon" kind of thing. but again I have no pictures:sad2:

After Church was my hair and makeup trial. Patricia had a little trouble finding the hotel but she got there eventually. I told her I wanted something vintage-y and I showed her 2 pictures of Scar-Jo from Black Daliah as just an idea but pretty much left her to her own creativity. I showed her what I normally wear makeup wise and she sprung off that. This is what I ended up with!

I'm very happy with it!:woohoo::yay::woohoo:

After that Eric and I hit Studios and ran around there a little bit, We saw Fantasmic and decided then and there that we would do the bridal party introductions and our entrance to the beginning up-beat music of Fantasmic!

NEXT: PS day!

Finally continuing this PJ:

We ran through the wedding step by step. For transportation We got a limo that will take the boys, loop back for the girls, and my parents and I ride in Rolls. Eric and I get the Rolls on our way back. Our parents get the limo along with my brother and his niece, The rest of the bridal party rides the motorcoach with the guests. I really wanted the model A but Eric insisted on air conditioning nad now looking at the BEO $900 for a car is a bit much so we might not even keep it.
We decided on a Welcome party at Shipwreck Beach! I'm super excited for that. We have the chip and dale menu for that and these will be the linens for that

Then we moved on to the decor for the reception. I toyed with the idea of 2 layer linens until I found out the price
100_2364-1.jpg
I was going to so the lighter green line with the Champagne pixie dust over lay but it ended up being like $50/table. So we settled on this
100_2363-1.jpg
The ivory with gold diamonds is going to be the table cloth the plain ivory is the chair cover and the green satin is the napkin and chair sash.
We discussed Mickey& Minnie as well. I said it would be cool but its out of the budget. She asked me if I wanted to put it on the beo just to see, I said yes and Dad jumped in and said "keep it, I got it" I was shocked but thrilled...I'm not counting on it though cause he's gotta get that one past mom and that's not going to be easy

And of course we did the cake tasting
100_2361-1.jpg
we setteled on :yay:Almond/Amaretto:banana: for the top and bottom layers and the middle layer will be Marble/Chocolate!
We discussed the feel that I was going for for centerpieces and she said she would do research. I just got that proposal today. I'll talk about those later.
So we wandered resorts until our tasting at the beach club.

We found all the hidden mickeys on the chocolate carousel in the beach club lobby. :woohoo: lol

We checked out Martha's Vineyard

Pre reception food; Bacon Wrapped Beef & Blues! LOVE THEM and spring rolls
100_2425-1.jpg

We're also having bruschetta but we didn't decide that until we Talked to Chef Carlos. Who by the way, is awesome! I can't explain how relieved I am to have met the person cooking my food that day. Being in the restaurant industry and just a general foodie, the food was very very important to me. I think I would trust him to make awesome food even if he didn't make anything we tasted that day. That's how awesome it all was!

Ok back to food...
Lamb and sauteed baby zucchini and yukon gold mashed potatoes...we decided to have a potato bar !
100_2426-1.jpg
SOOO GOOOD. and this is about the point where the food over took my brain and I forgot to take picture of the food before I ate it so all of the following pictures are an after thought. lol
100_2429-1.jpg
ISland spiced Mahi mahi with a vanilla bean citrus beurre blanc and grilled baby veggies.
tiramisu
100_2427-1.jpg

and the warm Banana torte with Rum glaze.
100_2428-1.jpg
Absolutely AMAZING, Literally numbed my mouth! we added this for dessert at the welcome party!

The rest of the trip was pretty general. We did see Captain EO (Eric's first time)! and did all the walking treks at AK, which we never really did before but loved. And the only other thing of note was that we ate at La hacienda.
100_2518.jpg
can I use the word amazing again? cause it was! especially this:
100_2493.jpg

I still remember the name of the Margarita a month later! thats how good it was! It was the Mango Blueberry, Basil Margarita. It had Himalayan(sp?) Hibiscus salt on the rim and this was the first margarita that I've had that the salt complimented the drink, and I've had my fair share of margaritas!

so we started sending out invitations! These babies were a loooonnnnggggg labor of love but they are finally done and I am sooooo proud of them!

For some reason I didnt take any pictures of the inside of the passport or the actual invitation card... sorry!

I love your STDs! They turned out beautifully.

I'm really glad you posted pictures of the lines. It's nice to know there are more options than just plain white when you have a budget. The shade of green you picked is really nice.

So I'm a little late.. but hey better late than never?!

I am currently having the saaame dress dilemma! So we'll see what happens!

LOVE your Save The Dates, LOVE your invites. Can't wait to see more!

Your invite turned out great! I know that was a lot of work to put together and I'm certain your guests will be impressed.

Wow those invites look amazing!

Thanks! It's nice for hard work not to go un-noticed! lol

So I realized that I never posted about my shoes!
1213484-p-2x.jpg

I love them! They're the perfect hight next to his wedding shoes so I'm not too tall, but they are just a tad high for the dress...I'll deal with it!

I'm also having a little bit of family drama. My aunt(one of my dads 3 siblings) called my parents and asked if my cousin's BF was invited. Um, it clearly states that "4 seats are being reserved in your honor!" thats aunt, uncle, and 2 cousins, no boyfriend (who has a small child that I'm assuming would need to come as well) I think I've met this guy all of 3 times in the time that she has been with him. Anyway my parents say: sorry, we can't answer that, Larisa has to answer it but we do know that she was struggling to find space to allow the bridal party to bring a date, ect. ect. So my aunt asked for my number to talk to me. She never called. she sent back the RSVP: only 2 people are coming. My cousins are coming to the ceremony and not the reception. Really? Your going to drag yourself all the way to FL to come to the ceremony and then just not go to the reception cause your BF wasn't invited? and my other cousin is just NOT coming for no reason. WTH? I'm not even upset anymore, I just don't understand it. ugh

Other than that I'm looking at jewlry
