Hello everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that I was one of the very lucky brides chosen to be a contributor on the Disney Wedding blog! I'm really excited to be a part of it and I hope I'm exciting to read about!
Thanks everyone for all the congratulations. Sorry for not updating, There has been a lot going on. We were house hunting for a long while and finally found a house we like in our price range. We really had our hearts set on this house and even brought our parents and 2 different contactors to the house to get estimates on things that needed to be repaired (it's 76 years old). We had picked out paint and talked about where our furniture would fit and then I received an email from our realtor that another offer had been put in on the house. We quickly put an offer together and when she went to submit it she was told that the other offer was already accepted. Needless to say we were absolutely heartbrokenExhausted from the search we decided to evaluate what we really wanted. and that was to move to FL. We Decided to get a short term lease for now and buy a condo, probably in Celebration, at the end of the year. That should give us enough time to find jobs and stuff before we move.
In other news, I recently received an extremely generous offer! Mary of Key Moments Productions emailed Carly after reading my feature on the blog and said that she was free on my wedding date and that if I didn't already have a videographer she would like to do my wedding free of charge!
Initially I had not made room in my budget for a videographer and I recently decided that I wanted one, if only just to show the video at the home reception. The problem now came with trying to squeeze a videographer into the little bit of budget I had left. Then Mary came along! She thinks that my experience will be a great way to show other brides exactly what a videographer can do for your day and help other brides not make the mistake I almost did!
I'm excited to share my experience with her and to have a wedding video!
Awesome's all around (except for not getting the house)! That is wonderful that she offered to video free of charge.
Good luck with job hunting in Florida!
So sorry about the house!
You will find something else you love even more!!
CONGRATS on the videographer!! How cool is that?!?! Can't wait to see it!!

I am getting married a week ahead of you but you seem like you are so much more prepared than I am! I just got the proposal for my invitations today so they won't be ready to send out for a week or so...Yikes! I love the colors for your wedding!
