i was wondering cause my mum just got 1, and i am still lap-top-less. i'll be getting one soon--i hope.
but anyway, plz tell me if you have one, or if you don't have one.

I have a Dell Latitude D820 laptop. My main reason for getting it? College. and I am so glad I have one now, especially when I'm home on breaks... I can go online whenever I want wherever I want.

We kind of have one. (Long story, like most of my posts. Don't read if you don't want to.)

Last year, my computer crashed shortly before Thanksgiving. I cannot live without a computer. I have to have it. So, for a couple of days I was computerless and going crazy. Yes, I could've used that time and read my assigned book that's due to be read by TUESDAY and still not read or practice my flute, but instead I decided to watch TV and eat. Not the point, but anyway after two days in pure agony of no computer, my dad brings home a laptop from work that we get to use until we get a new computer. So, throughout December and up until we get a new computer (dude, we're getting a dell!) sometime this month, we have a laptop.

So, yes we do have a shared laptop.
I DIS from the living room, because my parents don't trust me in my room alone with a computer.

yea, i have a laptop...i'm on it right now actually. i got it because i went to boarding school. but i need a new one, but i wont be getting a new one till i graduate. i use it where ever, mostly when I'm on my bed in my room. but just to let you all know, just because you have a laptop, doesn't mean you can automatically use the internet everywhere. you first have to have a wireless card either installed on you computer or you have to buy one. and then you have to have the wireless system thingy(I don't know what it is called)
but yes, I have a laptop, but I want a new one.

I have one it was really good at first but its not working properly now because it corrupted a file on my sims 2 games on it...and the internets not working very well...but thats because I loaded sims 2 on to it and it messed all my laptop up......................

Anyway Laptops are really good and handy because you can take them anywhere and just have them on your lap in the car and when your driving to a mini holiday you can take it with you and still go on the internet and stuff

Omg...same. Each person has their own computer in my family. And one laptop is mine and my sisters, and one is my moms.
