Lanyard Warning!

Maybe they need to be making an announcement or something before the ride starts! Or at least a giant sign that says "TUCK YOUR LANYARD IN YOUR SHIRT" I have always wondered how 'safe' those lanyards were on rides.... especially considering on some rides you aren't allow to have any objects with you.

That's not a bad idea. Keep arms, legs in the ride vehicle at all times and tuck your lanyards in!

TM's usually do tell you to tuck your lanyard under your top.

they don't want the ride to stop and have to walk the ride route looking for what has not cleared the track.

I have never had a TM to tell me to tuck my lanyard in, though I certainly will now. Lost and Found told me they always walk the track, but only after the ride is closed for the night. I bet they find plenty of stuff!

i have been told to tuck the lanyard at the mummy and hulk.

i've been on a few rides that shut down during the ride.
once at MIB, lights came on and all had to leave the building.

the TM's had to walk the ride route to find the article that was on the track which caused the shut down.
so, besides their walk thru at the end of the evening for the rides, they do on occassions have to walk the ride route during the day hours if ride shuts down.

Add Jurassic Park, DD, Ripsaw falls and Dr Doom to rides where TM has reminded us to make sure lanyards are tucked into shirt.
