Landry’s card now gives no priority?

If you get the card, you can call them and make a reservation for Y&Y. And as above, the $25 you pay for the card will return as a $25 credit on your first bill. A suggestion: if you don’t have any Landry’s restaurants near home and you tend to visit WDW in the same month, put that as your birthday month so you’ll get your birthday $25 at a time that you can use it. They won’t check.
I have used my Landry's card 3 times to get my birthday $25 credit, and each time the manager came over and looked at my driver's license to check my birth date. I usually go late lunch, 2P or later, but before dinner rush, so it is not as busy. I am amazed at you people recommending using a different date, as it means obviously that has not been your experience. (I used my real birth date.) Those were all pre-pandemic.

When I signed up for it at RFC, the cast member told me to put my birthday as the time I go to Disney the most,
Same reply as directly above-- a manager has always come over and checked my driver's license to check my birth date. Am I the only one this has happened to? (I used my real birth date.)

Interesting! Maybe it’s because we use ours at one of the Landry’s near home, not at WDW. I don’t think they’ve ever checked DH’s ID to confirm his birthdate when we use his birthday reward. And I can’t even think why it would matter to Landry’s - you still only get one a year.

I just called to the number on the Yak and Yeti page and they confirmed me that still available to do reservations directly with them for Laudrys members (apply 60 days policy) right now they are doing up to April 22. Also, confirms that we still have priority seating subject to availability for not reservations parties up to 6 people.
Could you tell me what Yak n Yeti page? I've been a member for years and have done walk ups but I'd like to make a reservation if I cannot get through Disney rather than chance a walk up (we were completely turned away on a busy day trip even though we were a party of only 2.

I'm totally confused about where you found a number to call. Thank you so much for replying.

Anyone know if I can use my birthday $25 credit and the $25 credit I have earned from past meals at the same time? The Landry Card app shows I have $50 in credits right now.

marylizcat.....thank you for starting this thread. Not only did I find out how to make a Yak and Yeti reservation at AK so as not to rely solely on my Landry Card, while researching that I found out that there's a Joe's Crab Shacks near Disney. They have been gone ages ago in my city and missed greatly as we went often.
Holy cow.....1.2 miles from AK!! We will have a car in January and DH & I are so happy to have one to go to.

The things I learn from other kind sharing people here is amazing. And appreciated.

Thank you!

Why would they care in what month your birthday actually falls? Their intent with giving you the $25 is to get you and your family into their restaurant to spend much more. I guess if you were a lone diner with a small bill it might matter idk. If I got called out to show ID to verify my birthdate to be able to use a discount they gave to me that would be my last Landry's card and possibly my last trip to the restaurant.

No one ever checked my ID for a birth date to use the birthday credit.
I suppose it depends on the server.

I've used the birthday reward for years and never been asked for ID.
They take the Landry's card when you sit down and then a manager brings it back to you.
They always just say Happy birthday, we see you have a reward

This has been my experience too

Landry's Select Club® ("Club") membership is open to all individuals 16 years of age or older legally residing in the United States and countries that legally permit participation.

Do you know where to find out - whether the UK legally permits participation?
There is an option to register online as a UK person but that isn't signing up for the card. So I am guessing that means it is allowed?

I can't order the card online which is understandable but we want to go to Yak and Yeti - and was thinking about picking up a card at rainforest cafe in disney springs and just ordering a drink and one app during our first night lounge crawl!

I am eyeing up the yak and yeti snow leopard t-shirt and their spirit jerseys as a gift. So getting these plus the meal will probably get us close to the 250 points needed for an extra $25 off and we are thinking possibly about bubba gumps as well.

I’m UK based and it let me order the card online. Took a few weeks but it arrived in the post a couple of days ago!

You can also join and download the App and sign in. Your digital card will be there and so will your rewards. You don’t have to carry around the card. You can use the app.
