heres the deal...me and the mousekateers are disneybound for spring break in march, but we are tight on cash as most college kids are....so we've ben looking in to disneyLAND over disneyworld. the quotes i have been getting are alot cheaper, plus they are offering extra nights and extra days with the passes on top of meal plans and what not. I'm just nervous i will be wishing I was in disneyworld the whole time, its my home away from home the only place I ahve ever vacationed in 19 years. I was hoping someone could give me some insight on whether or not i am in for a huge disappointment or not. should i just suck it up and shorten my stay at disneyworld to cut the price or go and try dineyland? any feedback will be MUCH appreciated!! thanks guys!

I have been going to DW forever too. I would say go for Disneyland this time. You have the rest of your life to go back to DW over and over.......try something new. Remember they have the new Californian Park, different hotels and HEY you get to go to CALIFORNIA!!!!!! That makes it worth it for me! We are probably doing the same thing next year if I can afford the airline tickets. Let us know what you decide!:D :D

Yea i think that is what we are going to do...i'm just afraid if I go to cali i will NEVER COME BACK! lol we are going to stay in the park for 4 nights and then spend 2 nights and 3 days in LA....and i'm gonna go find me a surfer! lol i will kepp ya posted on the plans and the budget!

I am SO jealous! My daughter has been to LA but not me.......I will get there one of these days though.....(leave a surfer boy or 2 for me!):D

ThinkTink1984,
I LOVE both DL and WDW. We spent 8 days and 7 nights at DL this past spring break and we had a wonderful time. Most folks would probably think that 2 or 3 days would be sufficient to cover the 2 parks, but we just relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. I could have watched the Aladdin show every night because it was awesome. I also enjoyed playing Millionaire every day. We stayed at the Grand Californian--It is one of my favorite hotels anywhere. (Storytellers Cafe is a favorite spot for breakfast :) ).
DL/CA Adventure are small and compact and easy to get to--but you would be surprised at how many attractions there are! (Some different from what you would find at WDW). It is a completely different experience from WDW. If you have time, take the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour. (I thought it was a pretty good tour.)
The other thing that is cool about visiting DL is that there are so many things to see in the LA area. (There's never enough time to see everything).
Good luck with your decision!

I LOVED the Disneyland Resort. We had such a great time. The parks are wonderful, the Downtown Disney is awesome. It was great how you could just walk from one park to the other and to DTD!!!! I can't wait to go back.

And as you can see, I live near WDW. lol

I grew up with Disneyland and am now living in Dworld country....I just want to say I don't think you will be disappointed in the Land....first off LOTS OF CUTE GUYS! LOL ...
now that we have that out of the way....it is smaller but ...The Land is the Original!...

Have a great time!
