Which do your prefer? WDW or DL? I personally love WDW much more due to the 4 parks and in my opinion more to do. I have been to DL once and I feel that there is just a different, more magical feeling in WDW.

What do you think????

Well, DL is my favorite park out of them all, but WDW as a whole, certainly offers more variety, entertainment, and restaurants, and for this reason, I love WDW.

I love them both equally.

If I'm wanting a longer (7+ days), more relaxed Disney vacation, then I would choose WDW.

If I'm wanting a shorter (4-5 days), yet magical Disney fix, then I would choose DLR.

Both places are truly wonderful for very different reasons.:thumbsup2

Well DL is far away from where I live and there's less to do, so I would definitely choose WDW. It just seems ridiculous to fly all the way out to Cali just to spend a couple days there.

However, DL has a better Pirates.

So far I would have to say WDW! :thumbsup2 I have never went to DL. My husband has and he said he really did not like it at all! He said it was boring! :lmao:

They both offer something special and unique. Comparing WDW to DL is like comparing a green apple and a red apple. Both good, both different, both with their own taste.

Stock answer:

Disneyland is my favorite PARK.

Walt Disney World is my favorite RESORT.

::yes::

Agreed. DL is awesome! Luckily for me DL is closer and so if I need a fix, $500 for a few nights is perfect. But for our 2 week trips, they always go to WDW! I guess those who have WDW closer are kind of screwed on this perspective.

The World!!!!!

Stay away from the land of fruits and nuts!!!
:rotfl2:
The world has much more to offer, but if I happen to be an the left side I would spend a couple of days there.

World.. there's much more to do. BUT I really do enjoy that DL is the original. This may sound silly but I feel closer to the Disney Magic and Walt when I'm at DL. Despite that, I like the World better.

I have never been to Disneyland and I'd love to go. But, I love the world because I like my vacations to be 7+ and I really don't think that I could do that with just DCA and DL.

I mean, I cannot diss on DL because it was Walt's first dream ;)

I think, well, it depends.

DL in my opinion is a better park than MK.
However, WDW as a whole is a much better resort. To compare DLR with WDW would not be fair, as the resorts are totally different.

Part of my problem is that I live an hour away from WDW. So if I want to get away for a night or two, then I choose WDW. If I want to take a Disney "Trip" of multiple days, then DL comes into the mix.

Definitely the World. Disneyland is nice and all but they have so much of the same things, yet the World has much more to do is and is so much bigger. I dunno, maybe I'm just used to them, but other than a couple of attractions (like Pirates) I found the Disney World versions to be better as well. Everything at Disneyland just seemed smaller and while some might find the park more charming I enjoy the grandness of the World.

Here's my two cents.

I LOVE both places. But I love different things about each other them.

Out of the 6 parks (I don't include water parks because I haven't been to them)....Disneyland is the best. Animal Kingdom comes in at a very close 2nd.

Epcot is easily the third best park.

Magic Kingdom and California Adventure are pretty close but with MK winning out just a bit.

MGM or whatever you want to call it...is the worst park of them all.

I think the resorts are WAY better at WDW. There are more to choose from in all different prices ranges (POR is amazing!)

Disneyland and California Adventure are so close together so parking hopping is a breeze.

Disneyland VS. The Magic Kingdom....Disneyland has better versions of Pirates, Space Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear It also has the Matterhorn, Mr. Toad's, Pinnochio, Storybook Canal, Casey Jr., Roger Rabbit, and Indiana Jones. The outside of Small World is much neater. And Fantasyland is a thousand times better than the circus tent look of the one at WDW. Toon town is also better.

WDW has a slightly neater Haunted Mansion, but it's basically the same as the one at DL. WDW has a longer/better version of Snow White. I also love the people mover at WDW and the swiss family treehouse.

Oh....and Disneyland is WAY cleaner than WDW. And I think Disneyland has a lot more interesting details than the magic kingdom.

Do you think that Space Mountain is better at WDW or DL?

DL is extra SPECIAL because this man...

We much prefer WDW to DL because there is so much more to do for so
many days at the Florida parks,

BUT...

Many of the attractions shared with WDW are a bit
"better" at DL.

Pirates, Fantasmic!, Space Mtn., just to name a few.

Indiana Jones ride is one of the best Disney creations
in the US parks (with, by far, the best queue.)

And the fireworks show ("Remember Dreams Come True")
at DL may be the BEST, most elaborate and creative
fireworks show ever designed.

DL can be crowded most any day of the year, too.

Lots more, but that's a thumbnail from me.

Oh yeah...and I like New Orleans Square better than Liberty Square.

Oh yeah...how could I forget the fireworks! Disneyland's are awesome.

One thing I do like about WDW is that it's mostly tourists. Disneyland has a LOT of locals (I used to be one of them before I got the heck out of that awful state...haha.)

It's not always crowded at Disneyland but it definitely can get really bad. These were taken a few hours after the park opened last November....not too crowded at all.
