Why is this not a live link today? It would solve everyone's problem. MDE could see that I have a room reservation linked and allow me to click through via the reservation portal to buy tickets. Those that don't have an existing room reservation get taken to the home page update screen.

Maybe it will become a live link when ticket sales are uo? The system is down until 10:00 am today..that is what is being reported.

I wonder if they are going to open up online purchases for 2021 tickets...that would certainly help the phone lines,

I’ve been following along and am still a bit confused. For those of us DVC members without AP’s or tickets but with 2020 DVC reservations able to get tickets today?

As a side note the reason we didn’t get tickets before was because we were trying to get a night added and to move the trip one day. Is it a big deal to move tickets to a different time period if a waitlist comes through?

No, they are not selling 2020 tickets yet. They will not until they have a better handle on those with tickets booking.

IMO, based on that nothing is selling out for parks, I have a really good feeling we will see those available in the next few weeks...if not sooner!

I could have sworn the message a heard this morning said 2020 modifications.

It would make complete sense to do so. You can't advance anywhere without logging in to MDE to begin with, so it's not a reach to make that live for those with a linked resort stay.

We had our tickets linked to our May 2020 reservation, that we then cancelled due to covid, and rebooked for July. I had to call to have the ticket dates changed, and it wasn't a problem. Now it shows my tickets are valid for the length of number of days I bought them for until September 2021, so you should be fine if you have to change your ticket dates.

I live in metro Atlanta. Saw these at my Kroger in the gift card section. It’s says take straight to gate. Could these work for people with reservations and no tickets?

I’m the one who found these in my local Target in NC and, as others have mentioned, they were a no go. We were politely insistent (aka desperate) but even the very helpful store manager could not get the purchase to go through. I guess it’s ~possible~ you might have different luck at Kroger but it seems iffy at best...I wish you luck if you decide to give it a try!

They will have a special channel for you where the Must Do’s will be changed to the You Wish You Could Do’s where Stacy moons you and gives you the finger on the attractions.

I was able to make DVC reservations for my family at GF for May 2021, 1 week. Then linked (our previously purchased) park tickets and made park reservations for each day we are there. Very relieved! All done online.

If you are an annual passholder and have an on site reservation linked to your AP, you should be able to book now on line.

You were right! The reservation wasn't linked within the MDE and once I put that in, bingo, now I can reserve. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cash guests can modify their 2020 reservations but not add tickets if they don’t already have them as part of a package.

I’m on hold with dvc. Recording is saying no tickets sales. Doesn’t say 2020 or 2021.

I have two 2 studios booked BWV for Jan 2021, one for my family and one for my sister - BUT no tickets yet. I have my family in MDE app ready to go but I can't link my sister so that I can purchase tickets when they become available and make park reservations. She has accepted my invitation, she sent me confirmation screen shots, but nothing on my end has changed. I can see her but can't link her. When I went to use the confirmation number of the res and her last name, it gave me an error message and told me that she needs to link herself to her room via the app (which she already has done) first.
What am I doing wrong? Trying to get this fixed prior to tickets and park availability released for 2021.

So just to bring it all back around, 2021’s with a resort reservation should be good today at some point if you get in on MDE or the phone.
For us 2020’s we are still in limbo for the time being. Keep posting your experiences, I think it really helps everyone try and solve their personal issues throughout the day

I’m now in this club... We have AP’s that expires on December 22, and 24th... We’re now screwed six ways to Sunday. We do MK every Christmas and hop to HS in the evening. Now because our extensions have not been applied. We will miss out on making park reservations for those important dates.

This really sucks. Disney had 3 months to make sure the passes were extended. Who cares if certain levels weren’t eligible? They have zero issues saying we won’t get all the features we paid for (PPP)but won’t let the lower tier access the parks for dates not previously included in their pass level?

I’d rather they give all passholders equal access during these unprecedented times. They can keep their “limited release” passholder magnet that we know most wont receive... I’d rather have an equal opportunity to book my reservation without having to pay more money for a renewal pass I won’t be using after this.

Just got off phone. No ticket sales even with reservation. But I can buy a package with tickets she said? How is it fair. I said so what if I can’t get in a park and have a reservation? Silence. No answer.

I wasn't too optimistic this morning and didn't want to wait on the phone forever so tried the Chat feature through the Disney site and they asked how I secured my 2021 room reservation. Once I stated I rented DVC points, he told me that tickets would be on sale by June 28th and said only new packages were able to book today.

Not sure if this has been brought up or not but an interesting wrinkle I've noticed is both the CM and the website state BY June 28th... Does this indicate there is a slight chance that it is available prior to the 28th?
