I don't get the whole racing thing...why so many laps? When not just 10 and call it a day...it's not like the course changes..that would be interesting....they fly around the track and suddenly...kaBANG....the track is gravel!

When we lived in Indy DH and #1DS went to the Indy 500,DH's recruiting office got tickets for free, and that's the only reason they went. Not big race fans here We always avoided going down by the raceway during the 500 and the other races cause it was always too crazy.

Those of you who watch the races, I think it's great that you enjoy it..I hope I didn't come off as snarky.

I was raised in a football household...pro ball. DH is a college ball fan.

I like going to games, we try to catch at least a couple of Navy games a year.

My parents used to live a block from the raceway. They said they could hear every race that went on.

Then I sat down and started watching some mindless "rich people in LA" reality show and fell asleep. (Kardasians?-Bruce Jenner looks really strange...)

I wasted an entire Sunday afternoon on this show once--it was funny. DO people really live like that? Clearly they have too much money--perhaps they'd like to share with me

Yay...the race is back. I admit it...I am rooting for Kasey Kahne and the 9 car.

That is DH's driver--he's cute. I am a DJ fan, or was. I don't watch much anymore and pretty soon I won't have a driver Has it been called for the night? DS took over the tv for a Mythbusters her DVR'd

Ugh need coffee, like a whole pot.

Silly me stayed up way too late talking to DH online and I have stuff to do around the house today. Why do we always seem to stay up to late on Sunday nights, why not on Sat's. ?
Trying to decide what to do first fold laundry or clean up the kitchen. I'm leaning more towards laying on the couch and resting. But knowing my twosome that might not be a good idea, so maybe I can hold off till nap time.

Morning LOSERS!! Just catching up on reading yesterday's posts.

I had my friend's 4 yo son from about 7 on Saturday night until 8:30 last night. DH worked yesterday morning and little "G" decided he wanted to get up before 7 AM. Last time he slept until 8.

We couldn't convince him to go bowling yesterday afternoon, but the kids next door that he goes to daycare with came home from their dad's early and they came here with their mom. They were here for 5 hours!!! Oh well, they entertained each other and we watched Ratatouille.

DH didn't get to watch the race. I LOVE going to them, but don't get into watching it on TV. Same thing with sports in general.

Morning everyone!! I say that all nice and chipper like since I popped my two tylenol at 5:30 this morning, when I felt that familiar thumping in my head starting.

Kids are at school. 5 year old had a terrible weekend. He started biting and pinching. He was in trouble most of the weekend. Hopefully he won't start doing that at school. I warned all of his teachers.
