I just complain about it when I don't feel like doing it.

Me, too, especially when I am expected to cook. Most importantly, I don't like the clean-up afterward!

I don't think I can cook tonight....too much stuff on the table and we'd have to clear it all off to eat. Hmmmm, chicken nuggets anyone--those can be eaten anywher? What would I do without those?

So, what do you all use as your go-to when you aren't cooking real food?
Chicken nuggets are the stand by here.

I love to cook and bake too. Dinner last night was a baked ham. Dinner tonight is bean and ham soup, made from the ham bone and leftover meat.

Go to meals. Hmmm. When I don't feel like cooking, anything that just involves browning ground beef is good. Tacos, chili, sloppy joes, etc.

I do have an easy beef stroganoff recipe that is one of those "looks impressive" kind.

Should not have mentioned the house...all I can think of is a bumper sticker I saw once, "Things just havn't been the same since they dropped that house on my sister."

I wrote that bumper sticker.

It's icky outside. I'm glad I'm done at the store. I'm making spinach and herb cheese stuffed chicken, angel hair with olive oil and herbs, broccoli florets and a salad. Oh yeah, I'm a winner.

I do pasta and sauce from a jar when I don't want to cook real food. Well, I guess that is real food, but it requires minimal effort.

Okie dokie, going to make my salad and feed the crew.

Chicken nuggets, hot dogs & mac and cheese for the kids.
For me and DH it's whatever leftovers are in the freezer (have a food saver).

LOSER me finally beat WINNER me to a bloody pulp then dragged her to Ronald's house and shoved a bacon cheeseburger down her throat.
Oh yeah she also picked up Happy Meals for the kids too.

I tend to put a box of trash bags in every room of the house and that means you have 24 hours to clean it up other wise it is gone. It takes a lot to get me to that point. John and our daughter Shaunna call it the mommy melt down.
