What is it with dog show judges and poodles? They have the goofiest haircuts and really...not that great looking. I am sick of poodles winning. Why not the Yorkie...the Yorkie was adorable. The Italian Greyhound was adorable and I love the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Can only hope the beagle takes Best of Show.

And I don't hate poodles, I am just not a fan of the frou frou cut. Let it be natural. It's so nice natural.

I have never met a nice poodle, but they are usually ranked as the most intelligent breed..

I saw that thread earlier. I can't believe that someone thinks lying to their CC companies is a good idea. Lots of red flags popped up for me in that person's posts. I could go in there with my credentials as a certified tax preparer but what good would that do really?

I LOVE BEAGLES. I want one when we finally get another dog.

My fave bred is the Shetland Sheepdog. We had one when I was a small child, she died when I wa 5. If I ever have a home or at least a good sized apartment I want a Sheltie. I am also partial to English Springer Spaniels. My parents neighbors have two of them. Known them both since they were puppies. But I just thought the beagle was so cute.

Weimereiner won the group. Good looking dog. I am not sure when they replay it...I would check the USA websiter or the Westminster website for web video.

Was he all black? They never have a Landseer, just too strange for people to see, and hard to standardize the markings, I guess. Yes, as much as I will NEVER admit it...Slobbermouth is part of the family, messy as he is. He left you a present on your laundry...hint..it ain't slobber...

Have they shown the working group yet? I love to see my Stella, Bernese Mountain Dog. I was watching another Dog show about a month ago, and they skipped all my dogs..

OK, now I really am going to leave y'all..behave yo sefs...

Thank God you guys quit talking about food & started talking about dogs! We went to Golden Corral for dinner tonight (all 13 of us!) & I am STILL stuffed almost 2 hours later!

That's right, the whole fam-damily is here now. Luckily everyone was tired so they're already in bed. And my kids have to get up for school in the morning. That'll be fun. I'm officially done being a WINNER for a while. The party's over & the relatives are here trashing my house so all I have to do is yell at the kids to quit w/the running already, sit back, & down a couple of beers w/the cousins.

I finally got a chance to catch up on what's been going on the past few days. Well, I know that we moved but I didn't go back & read everything since then. I've got crosswords to do & Cubis to play. Something about Shawn Cassidy & sleeping on pots & pans beside the bed?

So...we had the conversation yesterday (me & DH) about Disney being educational. I did learn something very important. Do not eat McDonald's for breakfast then go to MK. And for the love of God do not forego the tram to walk because inevitably the bacon, egg & cheese biscuit will catch up w/you about halfway to the TTC & you will have to leave your husband & kids in your wake as you speed walk to the nearest bathroom. I still don't think I've fully recovered. And also? Dole Whips are completely the bomb! I'd never had one before but I'd make a special trip up there just for another one. That was some good stuff!

Well, that shows what I know. I would have thought it would be a fault for a single patch of white...Yes, the Bernese are beautiful, the colors are really gorgeous..and they have the best disposition..and my kind of exercise level...none. Even though they are working dogs, they are happy just to lay around the house all day...just like me! Wow, we may have found an official dog of the Loser club..One problemo...lots of shedding, and you can't just pick a color of socks and have it not show up..they have 3 colors of hair!

I am very happy with the Beagle winning. Though I thought the Australian Shepard was a nice looking dog. Don't see much of the red coat.
