Planning is half the fun right?

We were almost set on the land and sea package, but, now are considering a 7-night cruise.

Reasons for land and sea:

Traveling with a 4 year old WDW nut. Want to see our Legacy tile at Epcot, just did that 2 weeks ago.

Reasons for 7 night cruise:

We have cruised in the past and I just know we are going to wish we did more nights!!
All inclusive meals all week.

Opinions / Suggestions???

Thanks in advance!!!!

We've always visted the mouse house, and now we want to get our feet wet (no pun intended) with cruising. As such, we booked 3 nights at the WL with CRO, and then the 4 night cruise with DCL. I think a Land/Sea combination provides a great transition from one to the other and will let you know what you like the most. We'll see, though.

Hey,
I asked this the other day and I think everyone said do the seven night cruise. Everyone made the comment when they tried the sea and land packages that they were so tired by the time the cruise came around. And they said afterwards they regretted not having more time on the cruise and on the boat. We are now going to do a seven night cruise.

We are 35 days out from our 2nd land/sea. We love it, however we do not do the DCL land/sea package. We book them separately. Last time it was because we wanted to stay at the Polynesian, concierge level and that option is not available with the package. This time we decided to stay at WDW 4 nights instead of 3 (3 is not enough for WDW). Booking each leg separately gives you more flexibility and depending on where you stay can save you $$.

That being said, we will book a 7 night while on board this time. 4 nights is not much time but it's been a good way to start. We all love the cruise. My 6 yr old is more excited about the cruise then WDW although he would not give up WDW this time.

As for being to tired on the cruise after being at WDW - isn't that the point? The cruise is such a different atmosphere than WDW, I think it's the perfect way to wind up a vacation. The cruise is so relaxing that after the craziness of WDW it's great to just chill if you want.

Planning is half the fun, anticipation is great! Enjoy the planning, read this board for lots of great info and tips.
