We didn't use any quarter round at all. They put the floor down and then my DH is putting the baseboard right over it. We both hated the look of quarter round-it either doesn't match the floor or looks like some cheap add on or after thought if it isn't done correctly.
I believe we went with a Mohawk product, also. We actually ended up having a problem with the floor and the flooring place we went with came out with the Mohawk rep and they replaced the entire floor. There was a defect in the particular batch we had the first time. Both the local company and the Mohawk people couldn't have been nicer or more professional.
We also had the local flooring place do carpet and they are tiling a bathroom right now. Each time, there estimates came in WAY lower than Home Depot for a better product.

Initially, we were scared to go with a local place but it was easier than we thought to find someone reputable.
Good luck to you. I know we paid around $2600 or something close. I will ask my DH how many square feet we had installed for that.
It's kind of hard to keep clean as far as noticing crumbs more but at least all of that is not going into the carpet.
