Lady bug release

Do they still let children release the lady bugs in the resorts?

Don't know if it's still going on at any other hotel but I know they stopped it at the Polynesian.

The only other resort I recall it happening at was the GF. You might check with them to see if it's still ongoing.

We are visited by hundreds, if not thousands of ladybugs at our house each Spring....so seeing them at WDW has not been something on our list.

I called on Weds. and was told every Thurs. at 11:00 am at the GF by Park 1900 ( I think) My dd who is now 18 just loves ladybugs so this will be a good morning surprise for her. I can't wait to see her face when we go.

Hi, I looked into this for our August 2003 trip. The ladybug release is a seasonal event. They usually have it along with the flower and garden event at Epcot. I was told this is the only time the Poly, GF and Wilderness Lodge would have it, if at all. The person I spoke with mentioned the resorts are doing less of this and the best bet would be to head over to Epcot. When I stayed at the Poly in 2001 it was indeed discontinued. Hope this helps.
