Ladies (or Gents) what's the most you have ever paid for a purse?

My sisters got me a great Coach bag for Christmas and my boss got me a cute little Brighton (the one with the Sheltie on it) for Christmas also.......so my 'accessories' have been greatly upgraded this year!
Just spent time looking at designer bags at the Premium Outlet mall near WDW this past week.....my travel Pal was looking for the perfect summer bag....I think D&B won!

Maybe $30. I hit up the import store and buy the look alike styles, LOL. I have 50 million purses... I'm a sucker for cheap ones. I change them out everyday.

DH bought me a Brighton the first year we were dating... I think he paid about $250... I still have it, but rarely carry it. The small bags are in style right now, and its pretty big. =)

I dont know if I should laugh or hang my head in shame .
It was during a time when I was to my 1st husband and money was not a issue . Being married to a fireman now I wont be spending that much a purse LOL.

I love that purse , the wallet didnt hold up so well and was worn out in 2 years. The luggage I bought with it ( we wont talk price on that ) are all still in use and look wonderful . Nothing like a Louis girls

I love this thread if for no other reason than I know that I'm not the only one with a purse obsession. I tend to get them mainly from New York and Company or GAP as they sometimes have the trendy things that I know I won't use very long for a good price on sale. I'm always changing my bags and love all the trendy stuff. My favorite is a Brighton one that DH bought me for my birthday 2 years ago. It still looks brand new and I love it. I have my eye on a COACH one now... one of these days I'll pull the trigger and buy it.

I have a Kate Spade diaper bag. I mainly buy Liz purses, not real expensive in the 50.00 range. I love the new D&B purses. And would love to have a LV. DH says when I go back to work I can spend whatever I want on a new purse. Guess I'll have to settle for my Liz purses for a while.

Just accomplished this task 2 months ago; $140 for a D and B "it" bag. Love it. Before I bought that, usually the most I would spend was $40-50.

$150 on a Coach bag. I got it about 8 years ago and its still in good shape.

The best bag I've ever bought is one from J.Jill - its a little organizer type bag -- I bought it for about $80 and it just gets better with age. I tried to buy one for my sister, and an extra for me in a different color, but they had stopped making them, unfortunately.

I rarely buy or change bags though -- shoes are more my thing.

Well, my future father-in-law loves to get expensive items for everyone at christmas (minus me LOL). This last Christmas he got Tanya a $298 Coach. It was used a while now it sits up on top of our shelves in our closet. He's gotten my future M-I-L about 5 or 6 Louis V's for a grand total of around $10,000...

I'm saving up for Tanya's LV luggage set *LOL* I think I might have enough in about 10 years....

$500 for the new spring line Christian Dior pink girlie collection bag, which is SO adoreable! (I wear almost all pink, everyone in my dorm called me Pink this year).

I have the matching J'Adore Dior t-shirt to go with it I had to go on a waiting list for the bag, and when they got it in I had an hour to go and get it...I didn't wear it in Boston because I didn't want it to get dirty, but I use it at home now.

I REALLY want a Louis, but it's 700 and right now I don't have the money, I'm looking for a job. (The Dior was leftover Christmas money and saved money that I put aside).

After the Dior my most expensive is my Burberry at about $300 with tax. My Burberry wallet was almost as much money as the bag!

I also have a Gucci, Fendi, Coach, and Kate Spade. Don't even get me started on the accessories...what can I say, I love designer things!

however I like to keep the price around $20 at TJMaxx or Marshall's.

and I do own nearly 40 purses...so I have an addiction...need to keep the price down.

I have a ton of 'knockoffs' - burberry, coach, LV...the knockoffs are fine with me too...i wouldn't want the responsibility of carrying the real thing! heheh
