Ladder Golf?

If you do a google search for Ladder Golf you will find some sources. Or, you could make your own. I did it using inch-and-a-half pvc pipe (about $15 worth), some cheap colored golf balls from Dick's sporting goods and some nylon rope from Home Depot. Total cost was about $30. We also bought a cheap laundry bag from WalMart to keep it all together. Get the solid core golf balls and I used my drill press to drill a hole through them.

ok - I'll ask. What is ladder golf??? :confused3

Oh, Rhonda, I'm so glad you asked! I did a search for it and found it for sale online but nobody showed how to play it!

Now there are at least 2 of us waiting for an answer.....

one, two, three, not for me

Do professional ladder golf players use a step ladder to play?

Thanks for your help. Have you found specific instructions on how to make it? (i.e. How far apart at the different levels?) I'll do a search now and see if I can find anything, but if you have info, that woudl be great.

This past summer we have seen several campers playing the game and everyone I hear from just thinks it a lot of fun. However, I can't see paying $50.00 for it! :earseek:

The rules from the link above say:
The ladder is the structure that consists of 3 steps each spaced 13 inches apart.

If the picture is to scale it looks like the rungs must be 18 to 20 inchs wide.

I know the ladders I made are bigger. I will measure my set and take a pic and post it here, but it may be a day or two.

That would be great :cool1: , unless someone knows of where I can buy it for under $50.00 :earseek: ! Thanks again!
