Hi All! I know since September is cheap on points its a busy DVC time. Is the week of Labor Day very busy in the parks? I'm thinking about booking using our points during that time or the week after that one, but I was unsure as to how busy it really was. With most kids in school now during that time I figured maybe it wouldn't be too crowded.

Actually September is one of the easiest times to get DVC reservations. The parks are not too crowded either since parents are less likely to take their kids out of school so soon in the school year and there are not many school districts whose calendars include breaks in September. All of this makes September an attractive time to use DVC IF you can tolerate the heat and humidity.

Thank you so much! I'm not worried about the heat as I plan to have plenty of pool time set up for us :o). My kids are both to young for school right now so I've been trying to take advantage of all the lower points times of year that I can before they start school.

Very smart of you! Enjoy your trip! :cool1:

Its the only time we go. Its hot but there are no crowds. If you have school aged kids its great because I pull mine out for those 3 half days. The only thing that has ever gone wrong was in 2004 we were locked down during hurricane francis. Disney refunded all the park tickets and brought all the characters to the resort. Its the best time to go.

We were there the week before that hurricane hit that year! We got lucky that year because that was the week between two hurricanes. We had just missed both of them.

Thank you for the response! It's definitely helping me with my decision!

Labor Day Weekend will be busy, but the following week is wonderful! Enjoy!
