Labor Day Challenge, Anyone? Down to the Wire...Over 200 Pounds GONE, bay-beee!

I'd like to join. I would like to lose 10 pounds by then. I can use the weight that I started off with on the stay off the scale challenge and as soon as it is over, weigh in. I'll still have 5 weeks left in the challenge to weigh in weekly. Hope that's o.k.::yes::

add me in...

I only lost half of my goal on the Independence Day challenge, so I still need to drop some pounds!

I'll set my goal at 10 pounds.

Okay, I had my weigh in this morning and I was at 225lbs. so with my goal to lose 10lbs. by Labor Day I will need to get to 215lbs. :)

I'd love to have a chance to redeem myself after falling short on the Independence Day Challenge. Last time I aimed for 16 and lost 13.5. Let's try that again. Put me down for 16. Would it be okay to start with my weigh in on 7/13 and end on 9/7 (Tops meets on Tuesday evenings...).

Thanks again, for getting this organized!

Add me to the list for 12 pounds!
That will be right before I leave for the beach and a quick trip to Universal.

Let the Challenge Begin!

I weighed in this morning at 155 pounds, with a goal to lose ten (more would be lovely!) by Labor Day.

I have had some problems losing since joining WISH, as I have only lost six since March, but hopefully I will do better this time around.

DBF, AlaskaBound (he has never posted, just lurked), also has a Labor Day goal. He wants to be ready for his Law Enforcement tests, which require # of full sit ups in a minute, # of push ups before breaking form, fastest 2 miles you can run, etc. As he strives to become in better shape for this, I know he will be helping me! Feel free to cheer him on, too. Maybe then he will actually start posting stuff! (He's really skinny already, so he doesn't get to lose weight... 6'2" and 165-170)

Just wanted to share! Everybody sounds ready to go, and I KNOW we will all meet our goals, or at least do our very best! It's summer time, and there are so many opportunities for extra exercise! :hyper: :sunny: :hyper:

Good Luck, All!

Hi all! :wave2: I've decided to change my Labor Day goal to 20lbs instead of 30. Even though I really would like to get to my goal weight by Labor day, I think that trying to lose 30lbs between now and then is pretty unrealiastic, so I figure that I'm beaten even before I get started. I think that I'll have to wait a bit longer to get to my goal weight! :hyper:

Hi:wave: CookieGVB
I would love to join this challenge if it's not too late:hyper: .
If it's ok to join, can you put me down for 5lbs please
Helen

Hi I just found this board today. I wish I had you guys along for the ride (or should I say walk) 3 months ago. I have lost 32 pounds and 20 more would just about put me at my goal weight. So count me in!!!:Pinkbounc

Hi!

Count me in, too, please!! I did so well with the Independence Day Challenge and if I do as well with this challenge I will be AT GOAL by Labor day!!! :) I have to go to Curves this am for my monthly W&M (Weigh & Measure) to see exactly how many more #'s I have to lose yet to get to my 140 goal weight. I think it'll be about 20 pounds, but I'll let you know for sure.

We can do it!! :)

OOPS!! I already said I"m in but I didn't state my goal....my goal is 15 pounds by Labor Day which will also put me into Onderland!!

Amanda

Hi!

I'm VERY ecstatic to say that my Labor Day Challenge Goal will be 18 pounds!! 18 pounds to my 140 pound goal, since starting Curves on March 8th at 195 pounds and the Curves Low-Carb diet on 5/7 at 186.5 pounds!!! :)

Earned a beautiful new 35 pound clippie today, too!!! :)

Everyone's been added in - more are always welcome to hop onboard! ::yes::

Congrats on the new clippie, Mom! :)

Anyone have a pushup smile for LittleMissMickey's DBF?

Does anyone want to share which weight loss method they're using? I'm using Weight Watchers - I'm happy with the way it's working for me this time around. I enjoy the weekly meetings (the group & the leader are pretty hilarious) - and having someone else looking to see if you're gaining or losing weight is kind of an extra push.

Anyone else want to share which program they're on, and what they like about it?

I'd love to join this, but I'm also on the stay off the scale challenge. So, if I can, I'll start with my weight from 7/4 and I'll do my first weigh in after August 4th! Put me down for 10 pounds. I'm at 152 right now.

Is it to late to join in?
I just got back from a week in So. Cal (2 days at DL/DCA).
I was sure I was going to come home and have lost my Onederland status...but I didn't! I think I only gained a half pound (maybe nothing...we will have to see when I officially weigh in tomorrow)!!!:bounce:

So Sign Me Up! 10 pounds please.

Two of my fellow "stay off the scale" challengers have shown me that I can keep true to our challenge and join this one too! Thanks Hollyann and Sheree! So if it's not too late, I'd like to sign up.

I will use my weight from the July 4th challenge and plan on losing 10 pounds. I won't be weighing in until after our stay off the scale challenge is over which will be August 4.

Thanks so much for starting this! Challenges are so much fun and I wish everyone well!!!

O.k., I forgot to post my weight. At my last weigh-in I was 148. To lose 10 pounds would put me at 138, 8 pounds away from goal

Hi all! I am using WW and have lost 29.8 since the end of Jan. Looking for my 30lb clippie tomorrow. Good luck all!
:earsgirl: :earsboy: ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo :chat: princess:  Smilies are courtesy of my 6 yo niece who is hanging out at my place now. She wanted to see how they looked.
