Any DISers out there a member? How do you like it? They're popping up everywhere here including right around corner from my house so I'm wanting to join. I am, however, a gym weenie and was wondering how the atmosphere was. I don't do the meat market thing well.

I would imagine as with any gym, the atmosphere changes from place to place. I love my Y but I know others who wouldn't step foot in their Y. You should go for a tour and see if they have a trial membership.

My DH is a member and I will join in August/September of this year. DH really likes it because they have raquetball courts, and he said the equipment is really nice.

And it looks like we live in a similar area maybe we'll run into each other sometime.
