I guess I just don;t understand how this area is set up. Is it many many blocks of stores? Is there a place I should park and walk around? Are there deals to be had here, or just a huge selection? Some stores say wholesale only, I assume that means I can not shop there?

They have a way of searching. I chose Clothing/Prom and only selected retail businesses. I got over 60 businesses, but I suspect not all of them specialize in prom dresses. Many entries also have links to websites.

Frankly I wouldn't know where to start. Most don't have websites listed on the page.

The best way to describe it is, the area is just a boat load of stores. They actually call the garment district. You just need to walk and find what your looking for. You might be able to get deals with different people. Once you are there then you will get the idea of what the area is like.

Yes, there are many blocks of stores. It is a place where you can park and walk around. There are deals to be had and there is a huge selection. You are correct, you cannot buy in the wholesale stores. But there are many stores where you can shop.
