On another note:
Just spoke with tatemiak and there was a little trouble finding the fridge when she arrived yesterday. She did end up finding it eventually-had to go back to LS and search for it herself. It didn't have the coffee pot but she is going to leave a toaster

Future swappers: It's very important that you print off a picture of the fridge box and bring it to Pop with you. That way if LS can't find the fridge you can show them the picture or you can search for it yourself (I think that's what tatemiak had to end up doing).

If you know of anyone who needs the fridge from Jan 23-Feb 13th we REALLY need to fill those dates! If they are not filled this will be the largest gap in swapping that this fridge swap has ever had. If anyone could fill in or "babysit" the fridge during any of that time all future swappers would greatly appreciate it.

Whew! I am do glad she found it! There was no coffee pot when we had it before her. The only thing was the fridge, nothing inside.

Krystalleigh has kindly allowed me a little free advertising for the Pay It Forward box swap also at Pop. I'm helping manage it and we have lots of open dates in 2010.

The are lots of goodies to be enjoyed and a place to leave those items you just don't want to take back home!

The PIF box recently contained: laundry soap, clorox wipes, wet ones, kitchen sponges, clothes pins, hand sanitizer, first aid supplies, rain ponchos, ground coffee, instant grits, drink mix packets (peach ice tea flavor), lanyards (to hold your Key to the World card), coin purses, window clings, kids toys, stickers, glow sticks, a 6 pocket organizer (use a pants hanger to hang in the closet as a pantry or for toiletry storage), novels, and MUCH MUCH MORE!

What a great idea! I hope someone can keep Mrs D's swap going. Sounds like a box like that would really come in handy (and be fun).

It worked great and is now tucked safely back in at luggage services waiting for the next swapper on 1/20/10. The box is stil in good shape and I included a toaster, Clorox wipes and a roll of paper towels. Thank you for allowing our family to join the swap!

I'll be at Pop from May 24th until June 3rd and EVERY SINGLE fridge swap listed in the FAQ is taken up on those dates (and I notice that the same names appear more than once, so either the dates haven't been updated, or something mighty unfair is going on).

If your fridge is available even for a couple of days during my trip, I'd love to have it. Last year I participated in my first fridge swap (Christa's) and had hopes again this year, but I seem to be out of luck unless someone cancels.
