Quick update on the fridge.

It's working great. Keeps everything cold.

The coffee maker also working. Running out of coffee filters.

Disney Diva has it reserved after us.

Hi all,

I'm very sorry for getting behind. My bad luck streak ended with a car crash (I was hit by a drunk driver) several weeks ago in Michigan (I'm from Illinois) and I've been in the hospital and rehab after several broken bones were repaired and one lung surgically repaired. I just got home yesterday but I still have a lot of rehab to do. I've had my streak of three bad things and I'm hoping the new year brings better luck.

Anyhow, I've just finished going through my PM messages and deleted a bunch so it's no longer full. I've gone through all requests for the fridge and will start responding soon. I'll also update the list on page 33.

I want to thank mkymsehi for taking the initiative and keeping the swap going. You are wonderful.

Oh my how terrible for you! You have had a rough year. I will keep you in my prayers. I'm sure everyone here will understand due to your circumstances.

I actually put a stack of coffee filters into the box before we left, so there are plenty of filters now. I also left a couple of small packs of coffee that were in the box already and 4 little bottles of water we had left over are in the fridge.

We put the refridge and coffee maker back in luggage storage. You and your husband's name, reservation number, and dates are taped to the top.

When you arrive, just see any of the luggage service cast members. Give them your name, and they'll go in the back and bring it out.

You can leave a photo ID, and they'll loan you a handcart to push it to your room. Same goes for when you check out, and return it.

We gave them a couple of bucks for the effort of helping retrieve and store it.

To clarify for anyone who is wondering, the refridgerator does not have a freezer compartment. It is working properly, even though someone posted it wasn't keeping things cold. Remember to turn the dial inside the refridge to max cold.

There were a few small packets of coffee in there (probably from other hotel stays). You may want to bring your own, or purchase some locally. No cream or sugar, and no cups. So don't forget to bring a coffee mug, or travel mug with you.

Using this swap was great, saving us $10 a night. Keep it going, and it will last indefinitely.

Disneydiva, try this,

PM dkferret and the person after you. Just so both are in the loop. Check if the person after you if they have direct email set up in their account by clicking on their signature name on the left.

Try to get their name, room confirmation number, and dates. Then tape it on the top of the box. It they don't pick it up, then at least we'll know who's name is on it last. That way it won't go missing.

If you don't get their info, they'll have to have luggage service look for it when they arrive.

The box is wrapped in gift wrapping paper, and the refrigerator has the original person, Krystal's info written on the side of the refrigerator. It says, if lost, then call me at this number, etc. It's very likely all the luggage workers have recognized it sitting on their shelf for the last year or two. It's probably gone in and out their doors dozens of times.

The coffee maker is inside the refrigerator, inside the box.

OK, list both of the people that are behind you and their dates. Also write "Krystal's POP Refrigerator Swap" on your label.

When you return it to luggage service, make sure you get a luggage tag claim number. Then PM dkferret the number (you can also PM it to me as back up).
