Krispy Kreme opens in MA tomorrow!!!!

Rejoice, Rejoice!!!

Krispy Kreme is coming to my hometown of Medford, Massachusetts tomorrow. I am soooooooo excited to have the best donuts available 24 hours a day in my hometown. It's no coincidence that they chose to open in Medford, MA--I've sent them so many e-mail in the past five years that they probably figured I'd keep the store in business all by myself.

Here are the hours for the store:

5:00am-2:00am Sunday-Thursday
5:00am-3:00am Friday and Saturday
Drive through window is open 24 hours a day!

I got a free Krispy Kreme this morning. They were giving them out at the train station where I catch my train to go into the office. It was such a tease to get just one Krispy Kreme, but it was so yummy.

I just had to share.

Oooo, we pass the Medford exit on our way to work. I wonder if it's right off the highway. Perhaps we'll have to check it out.

On July 22nd, a Krispy Kreme is opening near where I live! The restaurant I work in has already made friends with their GM. We're hoping to trade spaghetti for donuts. Too bad I'll be at Disney World for the opening....wait, no, that's just fine. They'll be there when I get back.

Where is it??
About 2 years ago I heard a rumor they were coming to Medford, but when nothing else was mentioned I thought plans had changed. I cant wait to go.

Medford is just a few miles north of Boston. The Krispy Kreme isn't right off the highway--it's a couple of miles from route 93. It's at Wellington Circle, close to the Wellington Station orange line station. If you are on 93 south, you can take the Mystic Valley Parkway exit (the exit after Medford Square/Route 60), take a left at the lights, drive a couple miles to the rotary, go straight through the rotary, and it will be on your right.

I'm not going to the store. They showed it on the news, and people are waiting in line for it. I'll wait a while, and I can get all the Krispy Kremes I want with no wait in line.

Just a couple of Krispy Kreme tips for you:

Krispy Kremes freeze well. Before Krispy Kreme came to my town, I would bring home several dozen from New York whenever I went there.

If you put an original glazed Krispy Kreme in the microwave for a few seconds, it's almost as good as getting a hot and dripping Krispy Kreme straight off the conveyor belt. If you are nuking a frozen Krispy Kreme, nuke it for about 20 seconds.

we are mainers and I know a few that love these donuts......we stayed at the Dolphin four times and I still have yet to eat a Krispy kreme donut.....I always had a sausage....egg.....homefries and toast breakfast......but some day......I will try them......we are going to Pelham NH next week....is this close to medford?

Thanks for the directions. Is it in a plaza or just on its own. Not that Im planning to go or anything, LOL!
Im in Woburn, so I am pretty familiar with Medford.

Pumba, Im not sure how far up Pelham is, but Id say from Medford to the NH border is at least 30-40 minutes(depending how fast you go).

They showed the line for Krispy Kreme on the news a few minutes ago and it was long!!!!! I heard they put a sign in the window when the donuts are hot. Is this true? How often do they come out of the oven? My husband wants to go over Saturday morning. Yeah, that shouldn't be too packed!!!!

From the directions provided a few posts back, it looks like Krispy Kreme is located near Kiss 108. Am I right? Thanks and have a great day everyone!

I think you are right cinmell. I just checked on line and the address is 35 Revere Beach Parkway, Medford. Hmmmm, I can be there in about 20 minutes. What do you say everyone...Dis meet?

Yes, Krispy Kreme is right down the street from KISS 108. It's right before the T station, and the radio station.

If the red light is on, it means that there are hot donuts in the store. They said on the radio that the red light should be on 24/7 for the next couple of weeks.

DISmeet at Krispy Kreme? Can anyone think of a better place (well, next to actual Disney World. Sounds good to me.
