Kodak V1073?

I had a Kodak V803 I LOVED so much. the screen broke on a past trip to disney (i was dumb and didn't put it in its bag on a ride, so it wasn't the camera's fault) and have been looking for a replacement since. Kodak sent me an email saying that the V1073 was going to be half off (tomorrow only) and was wondering if anyone has used it. I have never had a touch screen anything so I don't know if a trip with kids and sticky fingers needs a touch screen. I am a Kodak snob so I do know that whatever camera I get needs to be one.

I would check the price against places like B&H, Adorama, Buydig, and Beach Camera. Sometimes the half off list price could be even more than the going street price. Those four places are respectable. If you see it lower somewhere else, it is probably too good to be true.

Seeing how you love Kodak, there seems to be no point in talking you into a different brand. One other thing to be sure of is that they are offering a new camera and not a refurb.
