KODAK C330 lens error: 25 FIXED

Friday night we were at a concert & DS (15) was taking pix & camera locked up & displayed "lens error: 25" Camera is 2 months past warranty (of course!) and I didn't really have the bucks for a new camera. Repair would start at $79 from Kodak. Did a search on the Internet & the solution someone gave was take out batteries & card & hit the bottom of the camera against a hard surface & press the shutter button. Yeah right, I thought. IT WORKED!!! I am so thrilled!!!! Though I would share in case someone was having this problem.

omg thanks so much!!! im so happy because i borrowed this camera from my school and I have to pay for it if it's broken. I took the battery and the memory card out and banged it on the table while pressing the shutter button and it works now!!! my camera first said Lens Error 23 and then it said Lens Error 16, and now it works perfectly, thank you so much!

You're so welcome! It has happened a couple of times since this. Just repeat the "treatment" & it has worked so far!
