I am confused on which place to eat which day. We do not have park hoppers, so if I pick a restaurant for a ADR, that's the park we have to be in that day. Well, when will I know which parks have EMHs? We want to take advantage of AM EMH. Will they release the park hours before the 90 day window so I have time to know which park I need an ADR at?

Oh no, my head just exploded...

Yes. they will release them. I waited FOREVER for May to be released. But I found out all the EMHs and parade/fireworks times in time to plan and make my 90 day ADR.

:)

I was wondering that myself!

Hi,

Just to clarify, it depends what time of the month you are going. Park hours are released on or about the first of the month (June hours will be released March 1, July hours on April 1, etc). So the 90-day ADR window will not exactly line up if you are going the last week of a month into the first week of another month.

Also, please be aware that park hours and EMH can--and often do--change from the time they are released until the time you arrive at WDW.

Just as an FYI, since you do not have park hoppers, please know that the busiest park of the day tends to be that park that has the EMH. So while you will get in earlier, there will be more people in park, especially around 11 or 12. Just wanted to make sure you were aware. :)

i hate the fact that while i'll know the parks' June hours next month, ill still be hanging as to the portion in July (the last 5 days of my trip this year):confused3

i'd rather see 2 months @ a time roll out @ once, even if less than 90 days window

really wouldn't surprise me to see a system wherein for extra$ u can book earlier, perhaps tied into level of DP purchased (plat, deluxe, etc.)?

We are going on June 16th - so I will have the park hours a few weeks in advance of my 90 day window. I am a self proclaimed - overplanner !! What I have done is this : We are going to MK-5 days - EP- 2 H.S.-2 and AK-1 on deluxe dining. I have taken 10 pages of paper wrote the park name on top and then wrote Breakfast: place and time - Lunch: place and time- Dinner -place and time. Then when the park hours are released all I have to do is write the date on top of the paper for each park - put them in order and I am done.
This way when the park hours are released I won't be scrambling to figure out where we will eat!
Hope this helps a little.

I am totally bummed because we are going May 27-June 3 and hours are only released through may 30 right now .. HELLO how am I supposed to *guess* which parks we will be on if I dont know the hours ... geez.

Anyway .. where can I find out parade/firework times??

We're in the same boat - June 28-July 5 - ADR window opens March 30, but park hours aren't released until April 1st. I won't know where TGM wants me to go so I won't know where to book our ADR's! Bummer!

Hi,

That has always been a problem...when park hours were released six months in advance and you could make ADRs 180 days in advance, you would still have run into the same situation.

For May parade and fireworks times click on "DIS HOME" at teh top of the page then on "Park Hours" on the left side of the page.

The Good news: June hours will probably not come out exactly 90 days in advance, especially since March 1 is a Sunday.

The bad news: You too will have 90 days to make changes:rolleyes1

Let me explain: We're arriving May 3rd. Our 90 day mark was February 2nd. The "official" May park hours came out on Feb 4th not February 1st and although the DIS had the hours posted before that I didn't rely on them since they weren't official and could and did differ - although slightly. We don't have park hoppers either so I've made a number of changes since the original 90 day mark to accommodate the changes in schedule. So far I'm at four sets of changes to accomodate the changes in recommended days which resulted in not quite so desired ADR times which will hopefully result in more changes as I get my desired ADR times; ADRs the saga that never ends.:scared1:

My family laughs at me for doing this. I have my "grids" on paper and a spreadsheet. I don't care what they think, I love the planning.
