We are at 10 days already!

So, I did online check in. Here is online check in via screen shots for those who like me, wondered what it looked like.

Clarification here: At first I thought only a disney card was for that section... nope, this is for ANY CC you want to use to charge things to your 'room' on/with.

So, I will say that I did get an error message when done stating it couldn't add my requests/celebrations and to call the number. Since it wasn't a big deal anyway, I'm not going to bother calling. I do hope though that since I put our arrival time in, that our room will be ready when we get there, but if not that is okay too.

So all checked in!

Not unless the disney site is a TA. I did everything online, accept adding celebrations via the phone when doing something else anyway. (called for BBB appt or something... asked if I had marked the celebrations in the resort part and so they added them.)

I did online check in this morning too!

That's really odd that the site is giving you issues. I know that I tried it a few times before I actually called, and on the 2nd attempt, it did accept my request for ground floor - but it still gave me the error. If its important, totally give them a call. Maybe their site is buggy.

I booked through AAA ... so my agent had to add my requests. I trust that she did.

part of me wonders if it didn't take with ours because we are in values and at values being close to transportation = preferred rooms, which cost more?

so as someone who is going at the same time as me... I thought I would come complain to you. Have you checked accuweather.com recently?? Rain EVERY DAY!!!! Fortunately it's only like 20-30% chance of thunderstorms each day. Hopefully it changes in the next week!

But yeah, be nice if there was no thunderstorms. I remember them having some power issues last year shortly after one. space mt. was down for a while. actually, that whole area pretty much was shut down.

I haven't checked the weather. Sl underwood, had told me yesterday about the rain every day. Hopefully it will just be that rainy season pattern of a nice shower or thunderstorm to cool things down a bit. It's a much welcome relief when it's 90 degrees + and humid.

Yesterday at DHS was so stinking hot! Sweat kept getting in my eyes and burning them. We kept ducking into air conditioned buildings for relief. Don't get me wrong, it was a wonderful and magical day at the studios. My son had a wonderful time meeting the characters and was even picked during to ask a question during one of the celebrity shows! So there was definately some magic!!

Your PTR is great! I can't wait to read the actual TR! You're almost at the time to leave! I think it said 9 days? Single digits!!!

You mentioned that you were going to do laundry while there. May I suggest getting the Purex 3-in-1 laundry sheets? Throw a few in a ziploc baggie and they won't take up hardly any room in your luggage. No liquids or anything to mess with. I believe they're only around $5 for like 24 of them. Just a thought.

I have 3 boys on the spectrum. All are now considered high functioning 16,12,11. 1 had mulitple medical/MH issues and struggles a quite a bit. We have seen a neurologist, developmental ped, pscyh and a handful of specialists that are for the other medical conditions. The school classifications are son 1 ( other health impaired) son 2 (autism) son 3 (other health imparied) OHI is that catch all that doesn't seem to mean much, seems to be where they place the kids with aspergers here.

Yeah, not sure if I mentioned this here yet or not, but I did finally get a hold of the developmental center that is going to be formally evaluating DD for autism spectrum. The lady sent me paperwork to have me, her teachers, her OT etc fill out, and she also warned me that it will most likely be late summer before DD actually gets evaluated. Which is better than waiting until this time next year for the school to do it! Plus, they have a full team do the evaluation(s). So even if she isn't autistic, they should have a good idea what is going on, and best of all, what to do to help her succeed to the best of her abilities. For as I said on a Disdad thread, Call her spam for all I care, just make sure we help her succeed.

It did rain on and off on arrival day and for about an hour before MNSSHP, but besides that we only got one 5 min sprinkle while we were in the parks. Now I tend not to but as much stock in the weather report, though I admite to have been checking as well. (FYI- earlier this month was supposed to have a week full of rain, but they actually got very little)

I just checked it this morning and it's almost completely changed again This is why normal people would just not check it. I, on the other hand, find it reason to check it obsessively However, I did like the temperature forecasts, highs in the upper 80's! Much better than upper 90's!
