So, we are getting closer and closer! tomarrow we take off the day 20 ring, as we will be at 19 days!
We have gotten all of our 'Mickey Mail'. What is mickey mail you ask? I have assumed this covers everything to do with WDW! From the mailings from WDW itself, to postcards sent via fair godmailers, to big gives! (If you don't know what any of these are, feel free to PM me and I can explain.)
Since I myself was so curious as to what mailings these are from WDW, I figured I'd share a few photos of the mailings I received, as the result of booking a package, with magical express service.
First thing I received is my planning mono-mail.
Inside was a planning booklet, with some suggestions for me to do such as booking dining, and a few rides we may like to do. This was tailored to me personally, including our family name and details like a photo of the resort we are booked at, and ride suggestions for younger children. It even stated what dining plan we have. Also included was the planning DVD. This was fun for me to watch, but DD got a little bored with it as the clips of the action parks and rides were much too short!

About a week or two later I received my package mailing. This is something I did NOT get last year as I had booked room only, not a package.
Inside was a larger sized booklet with my coupons that are included in the magic your way package, along with the collectible luggage tags.
I've tried to edit out my name and reservation numbers, so if you are wondering why I have my hand covering things, or you see a blurry spot, that is why.
Now in case you are wondering, on each voucher, either front or back, is my name, some code numbers that I assume link to my ressie, and the dates of my package. These vouchers are ONLY valid during these days. So if you are doing a split stay like me, remember this in your planning.
The last page has these on it:
all ready to fill out, punch out, and put inside your tags.
Now these tags (this is year 2011 for future reference), are holographic in nature.
~~~
Last but not least is our Magical Express packet. Now, I didn't get mine around the same time as others going around the same time. So I called and they sent them out. Not sure what happened there, but I got them about 4 days after I called so all was well. Not that I didn't know what to do if they DIDN'T show.
So that sums up the basic Mickey Mails.
Now I just need to finish packing!
But laundry is a must!
anyone volunteer?
oh and since a posting just isn't complete with out some DD photos, here is one of both of us from this mother's day. We are at a small zoo that we wandered to with Grandma (and papa too!).
and today the temp was a high of 75, so DD went to school like this:
I think it is sort of humorous how I must have ingrained in her the need for clothes in public... why do I say that? because she insisted she needed to wear shorts or pants under her dress!
The girl that strips down to underwear the moment we walk into the door, insisting on more clothes!
Man, I love my funny girl!
