Knotts at easter

We are planning a 3 day trip to la this coming weekend and have set aside either Sunday or Monday for Knotts Berry. What would be a better day for lower crowds or is it going to be the same? Is Sunday going to have Easter activities ?

Knotts will have an Easter buffet at the Knotts Diner. Reservations are likely needed in advance. The Diner is outside the gates so you could eat there any day regardless of whether you're going into the park that day.

All weekend kids can do the Easter Beagle hunt. They look for pictures of the Easter beagle throughout Knotts and can win prizes.

Easter Sunday is generally not all that crowded at Knotts. It should be far better than on Saturday.

The Knotts diner is a well known classic restaurant thats been there since Knotts farm opened decades before it was an amusement park. Their fried chicken and boysenberry pie is the best around. I have not had their Easter buffet. I have gone for other sunday brunches they do throughout the year and they've been very good.

I called to make reservations and unfortunately they only had 930 am available. I guess we will have to eat somewhere else. Any other suggestion within the park?

Inside the park is mostly counter service. Spurs has all you can eat BBQ and is very good. Ghost Town grill has table service with chicken and burgers.

Knotts Diner outside the gates may still have regular menu service while the buffet is going on. The restaurant is large with multiple dining areas so its possible the buffet doesn't take up all of them. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Diner also has a take out counter. We often grab a bucket of chicken, biscuits and a pie and take it back to the tables located just outside the side entrance gates to Knotts.

Also outside the gate is TGI Fridays.

Good news !!! I just called again and got res for sunday afternoon. Looking forward to it.

Knotts during Easter was wonderful. It wasn't very crowded and had 10 minute lineups on most rides.

We enjoyed the Buffett dinner at the Knotts Berry Restaurant. The food was good and my wife and kids enjoyed the food.

A great experience in all.
