Kmart 50% off look out

It's about that time of year. I was hoping that someone will post here if they see when Kmart starts having the 50% off clearance toys week. I don't get the flyer, so I usually have to hope someone here posts about it.

About a month ago I was in Kmart and the toys were 50% off the clearance price. I bought a couple things and got home later and looked at my receipt and they only rang up 20% off. So I called them and they told me to come in and get the difference. Two days later I went in and they had a sign up saying that the paper was an error and that toys were 20% clearance. I did end up getting the difference since the 50% signs were up at the time I purchased.

I know in the past they did one late may, early June and usually never had that much out...and then late June to early /mid July they have the big one. I am hoping I don't miss it though. I have gotten some great deals in the past few years. Last year I got a Mickey race set that was normally about $50 retail and I paid $2.50!

I was there last week and it was still only 20% off and there was not much on clearance. Toys R Us went to an extra 25% off clearance yesterday

It started! I went to Kmart today and the toys on clearance are 50% off. The sign said it runs from 7/3 to 7/9. I got some Polly Pockets, Zoobles, Fairy stuff, Moon Dough, and Legos. Truth be told, I think other years have been better. I spent about $40 with tax; have spent around $100 before. Didn't see any of the $2.50 toys at that store. There was lots of Toy Story 3 stuff and Transformers, some Liv dolls, Playdough, a little Barbie. Hope that helps!

I was at the store near me (MD)- Things were just 20% off today. I have boys so what I saw was: transformer helmet and gun, lots of different toy story things, especially the hotwheels sets- some stuff with Cars, Tron, weebles tree house, Imaginext treehouse/fort thing. There were 'action figures' but I didn't even notice what they were as my kids are not into them.

I went today and got a lot of stuff, some already mentioned a couple others were,
huge lincoln log set came out to around 17.....
nerf dart tag set with the vests, two guns and glasses came out to 10, these run for about 40 bucks..and the refills were 4 bucks, i bought a couple for my family and will prob. get more for gifts.
lots of barbie, pet shop, tons of polly pocket, paperoni, transformers, TONS of cars stuff, toy story, craft sets, liv dolls, moxie girls (or whatever that is), some trio, lots of play doh, overall my store had a TON of toys in the isles and 2 full isles set aside in the back....

I went today as well. I was a bit disappointed, but stil lgot several good items. I wanted Live stuff, but they only had 1 thing and it wasn't great, so I passed. I did get a ton of littlest petshop stuff. Some Polly Pockets, though now that I'm home, I see one rang at full price, but I don't think I'll make a special trip back just for $4.

I'm debating on hitting the other Kmart I usually go to. It's quite a ways, and I really don't need more, but if I could find the "right" item, it would be worth it.
I didn't see much in the way of Legos, but tons of cars and TS3.

I ended up getting $121 worth of toys pre tax and at full price it would've been $344 pre tax.

You got a good amount! If you got the Polly Pocket Fashion Show, take it back. We returned the one we bought yesterday; it's really awful and doesn't work. Plus, I took back a fairy thing we did not need. So, I now only spent around $26; much less than any other year. I might check another Kmart on Friday but we are away from home, and this one is the only one around.

Also, for the Legos, I got a Lego City boat set for $4; usually $11.

We stopped by 1 today and got a few things to put away from Christmas.

They had a ton of girl toys but our girls are too old for them. The best part was when I checked out a coupon printed on my receipt for $10 off a $10 or more purchase valid July 5-9 so we will be heading to another store tomorrow!

My 2 kmarts didn't have any clearance toys except baby ones .... Happily i have a 7 month old (rattles and such) but when I went to buy them they said oh baby don't count those are not toys those are baby parafinalia WTH if it were a walker or such I could understand but rattles and such with clearance stickers....ni was quite irritated I don't know what those are if not toys. The baby toys were only at 1 of the kmarts so no idea if they other would have sold them on sale.

Ok...thanks for the great buys and a husband who is pissed. I spent about $200. I bought 10 different lego sets reanging from $3.50 to $30 ATlantis, hero factory, and 2 star wars( my most expensive) Several polly pocket and little pet shop. Hot wheels and a toy story toy. I got a LOT! Put them all away for xmas

I hit two Kmarts today and came away with a few items. I was surprised at the variation between the two stores. I found lego sets and some Cars figures that I had never seen before.

Has anyone noticed a Harry Potter lego set on clearance? They were so expensive last Christmas but for 1/2 I would head out to Kmart.

No HP legos, just Toy Story 3, some Ben 10, some Atlantis, some Star Wars and I believe Space. Be sure to price check things that you are interested in. A lot of things were not marked, but were on clearance at one of the stores I went to.
