Hi All,

We are planning on spending some time at Boardwalk Disney this trip and I was just wondering.

Can we go to Beaches and Cream and just order the Kitchen Sink Sundae?

I would love to to take my kids in there and order that, if only to see there faces.:p My 11 yo dd will probably try and eat the whole thing. I better go grab the maalox.

Thanks,

It's essentially an ice cream shop, so I'm sure that you can order just ice cream if you want. I can't imagine eating a meal, and then a kitchen sink?!??! :earseek:

A CM that waited on us last year told us he had a guy come in the day before. He sat down and ate a Cheeseburger, Fries and Drink and then proceeded to down the whole kitchen sink himself.

wahoo776 it is worth a picture they make a big deal about it when bringing it to the table. 3 of us tried but couldn't conquer it.:( It gets messy real quick.

Yes, you can just order the kitchen sink. We ordered it after splitting a meal between us and did not come close to finishing it. My girls loved it. Enjoy.

My four kids shared one and couldn't finish it. Keep in mind they are 15, 14, 10 and 8. They had a great time but just couldn't finish! Many people go there just for dessert.

This sounds yummy. I'll have to take my family there next week. Is Beaches and Cream a place where you need a PS? Or, can you walk right in?
Thanks

Unfortunately, B&C doesn't take PS's. We are going during Easter time, so I hope that we get in at some point!:) There will be about 6 of us, so we will see what we can do with a Kitchen Sink! ;)

We were at Beaches and Cream in early February, and a couple ordered just the "Kitchen Sink". The Waiter made a big entrance with it, announcing for all to look and then announced the ingredients, including a Whole Can of Whipped Cream. It was lots of fun!

The Kitchen Sink and the fuss they make over it is fun but actually the No Way Jose is much better tasting! Just my opinion. Have fun!:D

No Way Jose - a peanut butter and fudge delight with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, peanut butter and chocolate morsels, whipped cream and a cherry $7.99

Just to show how ones view of an eatery can be subjective and anyplace can have a bad day, check out this review I found on Mouseplanet from a reader:
Imho just not characteristic of Beaches and Cream.

Worst Burger on WDW property: Got to be Beaches and Cream. I know lots of people seem to like it, but we must have hit it on a bad day. The place was jammed, noisy, and no real decor/context. Because there was no table, we got the burgers to go and the presentation was consequently awful. The meat had no taste; like eating the styrofoam carton. The service was slow and not friendly ("outta my way" - ok, perhaps this is part of the "shore" mentality of the resort, but that's more like an authentic boardwalk). They messed up our order. The food was barely warm, while the No Way Jose sundae we got was delivered so early it had melted to liquid before the burgers arrived. The choice of toppings was limited and the cheeses all tasted the same. And the hot dog was literally inedible, with a sour, spoiled taste (yes, our 8 yo ate more hotdogs in one week than the entire country of India - this was the only one he wouldn't eat more than one bite, and after trying it, I agreed). The price was high, The redeeming factors were that the drinks were excellent, and it was nice to sit by Stormalong Bay. Altogether, way below regular Disney burger standards, and that's pretty low.
