Kissimmee Airport?

We are flying on a private plane to Kissimmee airport- supposed to be a lot closer to WDW. Anyone ever flown into here? How far of a ride is it to WDW? Any expereinces-good or bad- or information I should know about this airport? I realize MCO is international and larger, but why does everyone fly there? Do the airlines just offer more flights there?

Very convenient to WDW. Naturally, it does not have the level of services a Major Airport such as MCO has, but is well equipped for and suited for general aviation/business aircraft. On the otherhand, it doesn't have some of the hassles of a major airport either. Enjoy your ride and stay. Mike
