456 feet. 128 mph. the new tallest fastest roller coaster in the world. it beats out Cedar Point's Top thrill dragster. kingda ka will open in spring 2005 in six flags great adventure in NJ.

hm....what are your thoughts? i LOVE LOVE LOVE top thrill at cedar point. it is soooo scary. but sometimes it doesn't even make it over the top because it's so high up. what i don't understand is how kingda ka is going to work if top thrill doesn't even make it over all the time, and this new one is taller. oh well, i'm looking forward to it! i haven't been to great adventure in forever though!

Oh my word!! Believe me, I love top thrill rides as much as the next girl, but even I may have to sit that one out!

I would like to know how it is going to work too. I haven't even been on Top Thrill Dragster yet because everytime we are at Cedar Pointe it isn't running right. We stood and watched it for almost an hour one day and it never went over once, just straight up then down backwards. Thinking of going for the Halloweekends so we will see if it works then.

i love cedar point. i chickened out of going on top thrill the first time we visited, but the second time i decided to ride. it was working perfectly the day i decided to go on. but when we were in the station, one didn't make it over!! thankfully i didn't know that. when we got on, they pulled us out of the station and it counted down..."3, 2, 1 GO!!"...but we didn't go!! they tried it 3 more times, but we still didn't go!! i was sooooo scared. they pulled us back into the station and tried again. this time we went! i was so nervous we wouldn't make it over, but we did. it was a lot of fun!!! it was crazy though; i'm pretty scared of heights, so i was REALLY scared. for the rest of the day, people would get on the ride, make it to the top, and come back down backwards. some people were looking forward to that saying it was like a new part of the ride! i would hate that!!! getting stuck at the top is what i'm most afraid of though...and none of my family will ride with me!!!

briannesmom--halloweekends are fun. we went last year. they have some pretty scary halloween stuff along with the rides. it's really neat. werewolf forest is supposed to be the scariest, but i chickened out. have fun!
