Does anyone have a clear photo from inside the truck that shows the different animals on the safari? We're trying to caption/title our photos and there are a few that have us stumped.

We just got back yesterday. Never thought of taking that shot. I bet someone out there will have it.

We're back two weeks. I considered taking a picture of it, but decided against it. Here are three I can't quite recall exactly. I think they are antelope and impala.

That's what we thought, but DD was in doubt. I don't think she was looking at the picture at the time, or realized the smaller size of this species.

Yes, the first one is a Thompson Gazelle. The second one we think is the icon of the reserve, but we can't remember it's name.

"...Nobody calls them Thompson Gazelles!
They're tommies... TOM-MIES!"

:goodvibes

Thanks. We were right about the Tommie then. Is the middle one an impala and the bottom one an antelope?

Second and third photo is the Patterson Eland, largest of the antelope species.

The symbol of the reserve is the Sable Antelope, not pictured.

The pics have already been identified ... 1 picture of a Tommy, and 2 pictures of Patterson's Eland.

(you asked about an impala ... that one's a medium-sized two-tone tan animal ... just a bit bigger than the tommies, nowhere near as large as the Eland)

edit to add: Picture of some impala
