okay i have a question kind of on the topic, but not really. the last 2 times we stayed at a WDW resort on our resort print out it put the age (2) next to my daugther's name (she isn't two until the middle of oct.)....the CM must have taken down her age on the phone when they asked if we wanted to buy tickets for something and i said "no thanks, maybe next time, she's not even 2 yet" anyhow i figured i didn't need to say anything b/c they don't charge for 2 year olds. SO, my question is should i change her age with them? i'd hate for summer time to roll around next year and they have in her records that she "should" be 3 when she's not and be charged or have a discrepency with disney. do they keep track in their records like that?
CRO has known my kids' ages every time I have booked a trip. If you are going close to the 3rd birthday, you can bring a copy of the birth certificate. I have done that when my kids were two, although my reservation paperwork did reflect their correct ages. I don't think the CMs will shake you down - they try to believe that everyone is honest. Obviously not everyone is as you can tell from this thread, but they will try to believe the best. If I actually tried to pass my DD5 off as two because she only eats grilled cheese, I would hope they would call me out on it! We'll never know, though - my DD9 will turn 10 just after our next trip and she will be an adult for pricing purposes. My integrity is worth WAY more than the cost of a ticket or a few meals.

I love how all the supporters call it "fudging". Do "lying" and "stealing" offend your delicate sensibilities?

You were very clear about a mistake in your child's age. You never suggested that you were trying to cheat, and I don't think she took it that way. I think it was just all in the same post.
It's always so interesting to see this as a first or second post. I'm sure you could do a search to find the answer to your question - it's been asked quite a few times by people with few posts or people who change user IDs to ask this question.
