On allearsnet the Restaurantosaurus CS menu has a chicken nugget happy meal listed with the other items, not broken out. Is that the only "official" kids meal? My kids don't like McD's nuggets and I was looking for somewhere in AK for them to get a hamburger with a kid's CS credit. Anyone know if a kid's burger (or hot dog for that matter) is available?

I've eaten in WDW 100s of times and have yet to find a kid's counter service meal with a burger because if I had, I would've ordered it myself. Let us know if you find a place that sells them. I know TS places that have hot dogs for kids (the Plaza). I've gotten the nuggets and they were pretty good actually.

Tangeriene Cafe should have a burger kids meal - possibly a new addition with teh new kids meals? There are probably others. (ETA: Beaches and Cream has a kids cheeseburger, Hurricane Hanna's, Ronald's Fun House in DTD, and Cheesecake Factory Express were the only ones I found, though I dind't go through all the TS places. Still, kinda stunning there aren't more......)

As for AK, I'm really not sure. If Restaurantosaurus doesn't count the Happy Meal specifically as the kids option, that would mean there isn't one and you may be able to get the burger meal for the kids. Maybe someone's been there recently or works there who can help.....

That's right Beaches and Cream has a great kids cheeseburger, but it's TS not CS. You can no longer purchase food at the carryout. However, maybe at the pool bar you can get a burger still??

As for AK, no burgers but you can get a kids hot dog meal at Flame Tree BBQ....although you can't substitute fries for the carrots/apple sauce at this location. The Chicken Nugget happy meal is the only kids meal option at Restaurantosaurus. So, if they actually limit kids to a kids CS meal than your option are limited at this location. Tusker House offers kids Mac & Cheese or Baked Chicken with mashed potatos.

As for kids meal burgers throughout WDW, option are limited if kids are required to order off available children's menus as CS locations. Tangerine Cafe in Morocco at Epcot offers a kids burger. So does Hurricaine Hannas at the YC/BC. But that's it for kids menu burgers in all of WDW. Unfortunately, every other place that serves burgers (and there are a lot of them) has a seperate kids menu sans burger.

Flame Tree has a hotdog on the menu.

Don't know if this makes a difference for your kids, but we ate there in November and the nuggets taste nothing like McD's nuggets.

I'm not even sure how McD's lets them use the name...fries were nothing like McD's either, but at least closer to what you would expect.
