Just make sure to check with each restaurant as often kids eat "free" with each paying adult.
Right! Some do two kids with each adult others are one with each adult and Steak 'n Shake is per dollar amount ($8). I've made sure to check on that. We have 4 "adults" in our party and 4 kids and a toddler. Ages are 2, 7, 9, 11, 12, 15, 20, 26, and 28. So some places we even have 5 adults if the cut off is 11. Honestly though, the people in my family are tiny and could all pass off for a year or two younger if we wanted them to. Thanks for the reminder though!
For others wanting to know where to eat cheap here is what I've figured out:
Chick fil a - We split 4 12 ct nugget meals upgrade to large fries. 2 yr old gets 2, 7 and 9 yr olds get 4 each, everyone else gets 6 each except DH, he gets 8. This comes out to be about $30. I use the survey mini app to get $10 gift cards on a fairly regular basis, so I will be stocking up on those.
McDonalds - We either: A - split 3 20 PC nuggets and 4 large fries, $20 ish (depending on location) OR B - each get a McDouble or McChicken and share 4 large fries, also $20 ish (depending on location)
Cici's - Often Cici's will have a groupon for 50% off buffets for four making it $14. If this is out I will buy two and my sister will buy two. We will split the group into two parties and two in each trip giving us 2 meals at $28 each. These only work a certain locations so be sure you are looking at Orlando's groupon page and look at the locations and restrictions before buying.
Captain D's - I have not called to confirm this, but Captain D's in orlando supposedly had a kids eat free deal on Thursdays. Two kids meals per adult meal. In theory we could feed the whole clan here for $18 if this info is correct.
Steak n Shake - Steak N Shake has kids eat free on weekends, one kid for every $8 spent on adult meals. We would have everyone 11 and up order from the $4 menu. This would give us kids meals for the three littlest with a total bill of $24.
Fazoli's - I am having a tough time finding menus with prices, but I know they have family size meals for about $30.
Rainforest Cafe - I am heading to disney in May. My husband and I will each purchase a landry's select card and register them with our birthday month the month we go (it'll be the correct month for DH but not me. Will this be an issue?). If everyone 15 and under orders a kids meal except the 2 yr old and we share with the 2 yr old we should come out around $100. The sign up rewards and birthday rewards would cover this making our meal a total of $50 (the money we purchased the cards with) plus tip.
Earl of Sandwich - Register with their club with our birth month in the month we go. Receive 2 coupons for a free sandwich. Purchase an additional 3 sandwiches for around $20. Share sandwiches and bring our own chips.
Pizza from Ft Wilderness - 2 large cheese pizzas for about $30.
Fried Chicken from Ft Wilderness - 10 pcs plus biscuits and two sides. Would probably order additional sides or a salad and come out around $30 or $35.
That's all I can think of right now, but hopefully it'll help someone out. I'm gonna keep working on it for sure and I'll post back here.
