I made the Nemo outfit for her to wear to Epcot. Not sure how I feel about the band of orange at the waist. I might take it off and replace it with ribbon.

My youngest :love:s Nemo, so she would love something like that! I think I'm going to try to find some fabric and attempt a pillowcase dress, like the one previously posted. That's a perfect theme for Epcot. Thanks for the idea!!

She's actually watching Nemo right now!!

Hobby Lobby has nemo fabric. It has a border print that can be used as the hemline, the background is lime green with an underwater theme. I bought some last week, there was a coupon in sunday's paper for forty percent off this week.

Sounds cute! I'll have to be on the lookout for that coupon, I don't get the paper.

Mine was the Nemo pillowcase dress with the blue at the bottom. I got my fabric at Walmart and it was less than $3 (for 1/2 yard of Nemo and 1/4 yard of blue).

BTW, I think the Nemo shorts/shirt above are adorable. :)

If you want to go to Hobby Lobby I think you can print off their flyer, including a coupon, from their web site.

Question for those of you who make your own Mickey head applique. What type of fabric do you prefer? Is there any particular type that is easier to applique onto the denim jeans? Do you use Broadcloth? Or Rodeo?

The fabric for the It's a small world outfit was adorable. Where do you find it? Has anyone seen it in a store?

Thanks to all of you sharing the photos. The outfits are so adorable!

Thanks Kim, I just printed the coupon. I think I'll see what Walmart has first since it's 8 miles from my house and Hobby Lobby is almost 50!!

I think someone posted a template way back towards the beginning. I just use stickers, books, anything with mickey and scan it or use cans to make one myself! It is pretty simple to get it to look good.

Right after I posted that, I made one with a coffee mug & a small bowl for ears. Looks great!!!

Lets see...so far I have made mouse head from....
a plastic lid, the bottom of a Aileens tacky glue bottle, a bottle cap, an emtpy ribbon spool, a tamborine and some other stuff I cant remember. I really need to invest in a compass.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ok, Can someone please help me??? :)
I looked for the red/white polka dot halter dress at two different walmarts and neither one had them-they had orange and blue. Anyway, I did find a cute red skirt with white polka dots and a cute white tank with red trim to match it. I don't sew, but I have a friend who can and I would like to get the mickey/minnie head applique/patch that can be ironed on or sewn on to put on the shirt. Anybody know where I can buy one???? I tried to do a few searches on ebay and came up with mickey faces but no mickey heads :confused3

:flower3: Thanks in advance for anyone who might be able to help me!!!

Here is a buyer that sells them:

She doesn't have any up for auction right now ( I think she's out of town), but I'm sure if you email her, she'll be putting more up soon. She has some really cute princess appliques, too. :thumbsup2
